The conference room was tense. Very tense. Word had gotten round about the potency of Tint being the mole so now everyone on the case was walking on eggshells around the black haired woman. Tint had always been the serious stoic member of their team and therefore Temari couldn't determine whether her lack of speech was as a result of her character. Regardless, no one wanted to take chances. Well maybe Wave was a bit confronting but a sharp look from Hawks and her lops were sealed.
It almost saddened her that her own team didn't even recognize her as a leader. When she talked, they barely listened. Tint would challenge her, Tsukauchi would just nod with a 'sure, kiddo' vibe- heck, wave doddled chibi characters on the desk.
But Hawks...

Hawks.

The air of superiority surrounding him was thick. The sovereign power he command from their team, his vermilion wings flapped almost threateningly, his voice held so much authority, his gaze demanded respect.
Tint would accolade his opinions with shower of praises, Tsukauchi would give this 'of course' kind of vibe and wave refrained from cursing when talking to him.

She wanted to call herself petty for being jealous but she couldn't. Envy was real. And heck was it green.

What was she doing wrong? How could she earn their respect?

How could she prove her worth. Her fingers reached up to feel the only rupture that scarred her supposed flawless neck. The watermark that showed she belonged to Kanako. Not she felt no puffed skin. Instead, her fingers grazed the velvet material of her brand new chocker.

Hawks..

Her eyes momentarily flicked to view the winged hero who typed away in his phone, most likely finishing another case within reach.
She bit the insides of her cheek to stop a blush from tinting her cheeks.
Misoka had mentioned on the phone that she was the one that whispered the idea of gifting her but she knew he had bought the choice of gift on his own accord. And for that she'd shown sentimental value to it for as long as she has it in her possession and even after that.

The double glass doors were thrown open, the last member joining them.

"Sorry I'm late... Car problems" He rubbed his neck apologetically
"Its no problem, Ootori-san. Please sit" The brown haired man did as he was told, dragging a chair from under the table and sitting on it right next to his college.

Knowing all members were now complete, Hawks put his phone away, Wave stopped her doodling, Tint judgmental glare hardened and Tsukauchi stood upright in his seat.

Temari took a deep breath before addressing them.
"Last week, Tint, Wave, Hawks and I went on a mission to Nakamura's labyrinth to search for Kanako's last hideout in hopes of getting a lead to her current one. This information was given from Ootori-san and Harper-san from T&I. Upon getting there we realized that it was a tunnel that lead to different abounded houses in Kyushu district."
She clicked the next photo on the laptop, the projector showed the photo of her choice.
A map.

"This was found in one of the abandoned buildings, a warehouse containing Laboratory equipments and chemicals. This leads 3 other districts; Hosu, Kamino and Sakura district."
The next photo flashed and she cleared her throat before speaking.

"Most traces of Kanako's syndicate is in Sakura district. Hosu hasn't had much evidence of her stay there. It is however infamous for it's Nomu attack. And from our last investigation, Kanako's watermark was placed on a Nomu. There is a slight possibility that the league could be working with Kanako"

"Slight?" Ootori asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Slight" She repeated. The others didn't give a vocal reply to her term in probability. She continued regardless.
