Roman's POV

It's been 3 weeks and 6 secret meetings later and we've got no lyrics so far. We did manage to come up with a melody and tune for the song though but it's still not complete and we're really struggling on thinking some lyrics for it. I thought making a love song was going to be easy but I guess not.

I checked my stuff one last time before boarding the subway train. I was actually getting a little used to riding back and forth here. I can't really say I feel safe or I like the smell because I don't, but I did get used to being cautious of my surroundings and being able to withstand the foul smell of mixed perfume and human body odor. I could say that I'm getting immune to it but I still don't really like it.

I got off at my stop and saw that Skull was already waiting by the pastry shop near the station. He seems to be flirting with someone. I got closer to them as I thought of an idea.

"Thank you, please come again," the lady from the chocolate store said. After giving a small thank you, I exited the store and went near them.

"Ehem," I faked cough in the middle of the two. "I'm sorry to interrupt you two, but Skull, I think we need to go," I said.

"Is he the one you were waiting for?," The woman with raven hair and red highlights asked, referring to me.

"Uh yeah, he's my nephew's friend. I told you they have a project to finish and I was here to pick him up," Skull said.

"Uhm excuse me, Skull, but we really have to go. Virgil's going to kill us if we take too long," I said. He got wide eyed.

"Oh yeah, right. I'll see you tomorrow, Freya," Skull said.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow, too, Roberto~," she said with a smirk.

"I told you to call me Skull. And my name isn't even Roberto, it's Robert," He whined and pouted.

"Just teasin' 'ya, Skully~," she said in a sweet tone. I could see the small tinge of pink on Skull's face.

"Are you two going to stop flirting or–?," I said with a raised eyebrow as both of them got flustered. They looked away frome each other and I mentally sighed. I got Skull's hand and started to pull him with me to the car parked nearby. He waved to the woman who waved back to him. When we got to the car, I told him to wait for me as he readies the car. I got back to the woman and gave her the box of chocolates that I just bought.

"Here, take it. Skull bought them for you," I said. The woman got flustered.

"H-He did?," She asked, her cheeks red. I nodded. Before she could even say anything else, I ran back to the car and got inside. Skull started the engine and started driving.

"What did 'ya give her," He asked while driving.

"Oh nothing," I said with a smile.

"Okay-?," He said confused.

"I just gave her some chocolates that I bought and told her that you bought it for her, that's all," I said casually.

The car came to an abrupt stop when Skull suddenly stepped on the breaks. Good thing I was wearing my seatbelt or else I would've fallen off of my seat because of the impact.
