Virgil's POV

"So what?! You're just going to leave us? Now that you have those nerds with you?!," I flinched at his tone of voice when he shouted.

"Remus, calm down," Janus tried calming him down but he was failing miserably. Remus faced him, putting his hand on both of his shoulders.

"Jan, can't you see what's happening?! He's leaving us for f****ing sake! Just because of those nerds!," Remus voice was hurt. He was now choking back tears. Janus looked away, avoiding his boyfriend's gaze.

"N-No! I'm not leaving you, Remus, Janus. You two are my only friends, remember? We're best friends. I would never leave you. Please just listen to me... please..," I was now sobbing. My voice hitched and it was getting harder to breath every sob. I clenched my fists while looking down.

"Liar,"

I looked up and saw Janus glaring at me.

"You're a f***ing liar! Remus is right. You think we'll believe this b***sh** you're spewing at us?! A f***ing deal? Really? Is that really an excuse?!," Janus' face was furious. I went near him and hugged him.

"It was a deal! I promise you! I never really wanted to hang out with them. I just did that so they wouldn't spread my secret! Please! You got to believe me!," I cried. He struggled in my hug and then pushed me. The strong impact made me crash onto the wall. I tried standing up but before I do, a hand got my shirt and then lifted me up. Remus' face is full rage. He drew up his fists and punched me real hard across the face making me cough up blood. He left me crying on the floor as I choke back more tears while asking him to stop beating me up.

"You're a mistake," I slowly looked up to see Remus' face morphing into someone familiar. I turned to Janus and saw his face also changed. Their faces now belonged to some people who I vaguely remembered.

"W-Why..? Why d-did you leave us..?," My eyes widened at the familiar voice. My eyesight was blurry because of tears mixed blood and sweat.

"You left us, Virgie.. Y-you... left me...," The woman cried while clutching on her chest, trying hard to not to breakdown. I tried crawling to her direction when I was lifted once again from the collar of my shirt and then pushed against the wall. A punch to the gut made me cough up more blood and made me choke from it.

"You made a mistake for leaving her with me," The man laughed crazily. "You're a mistake. And it's your fault why she's gone," His voice was hard and in pain. He looked down and just let my collar go, letting me drop back to the ground. I breathed heavily, wiping of the tears and the blood from my eyes.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry...," I tried telling him.

"YOU SHOULD BE, MISTAKE!," I looked up, he has a wooden bat on his hand and swung it on me.

I woke up with a gasp. I was breathing heavily and was sweating bullets. I looked around and saw I was in the music studio, sleeping on the couch.

'Was that... a.. dream..?' I thought to myself. I felt tears flowing down my cheeks. I wiped them away and sighed, clutching my hair with both of my hands. I shifted myself so I could sit properly.
