Ⓐustin had stopped showing up to the hospital - post the breakup, so her brother had to start bringing up her work, not that she minded, her brother was basically her best-friend, with the two only having a year age difference.
He sat at the foot of her bed, "Tori, I know I'm not Austin, and I'm not going to kiss you all over, but you can talk to me." he said trying to break the silence.
She had been starring out the window for awhile, she looked at Myles.
"I'm not expecting you to replace Austin, can we not talk about him?"
Myles nodded, "yeah, sure. Sorry Tori."
"It's fine." she turned back to face the window.
"I set your work over on that desk."
"Cool thanks." she didn't remove her eyes from the window.
"Victoria you're making this really hard, and I've got to get to work really soon."
"I wouldn't mind if you just left now." she said.
"Fine." he grabbed his jacket and left.
Shortly after her phone rang, it was her mothers work number.
She sent the call to voicemail.
Then her father called, she answered because she knew he'd be more mellow.
"Hi Dad."
"Hi T. How're you?"
"I'm okay."
"Can I come see you? I miss you, and you've been pushing mom and I away."
"Yeah dad, I'd love to see you, I have group today, but we can meet at the food court for lunch or something."
Piper walked out of the bathroom, with a toothbrush in her mouth, mouthing "Is that Austin?"
Tori shook her head.
Piper walked back into the bathroom.
"Alright honey, that sounds great. I have to get back to work, but I'm glad I got to talk to you. I miss you."
"I miss you too, Dad."
"Alright, love you Victoria."
"Love you too, Dad."
Victoria set her phone back down.
"Are you ready to go down to get breakfast, and group?"
"No. I'm waiting for you to get out of the bathroom."
"Yeah that'd make sense, well I'm done. It's all yours."
Tori took a shower, she came out in a robe and a towel wrapped around her hair.
Daniel was in the room talking to Piper.
"Hey cupcake."
Tori waved.
She opened her dresser. Pulling out a grey string hoodie, black leggings, new bra and underwear.
Tori quickly got changed, her curly wet hair reach a little past her ears, since her most recent chemo cut. The hospital tried keeping her hair as even as possible, since Victoria decided she rather not cut it all off. She hung her towel up, she walked out, picking out socks.
"Alright in the chair you go." Piper said.
Piper started to wheel Tori out of the room, "Why did Daniel come in?"
"He was asking about you, did something happen yesterday?"
"He kissed me."
"Interesting. I'm shockingly not mad at you. I mean you were upset and it's not like you like him."
