Everyone started clapping but I just froze. I slowly turned around and looked at Hermione, Harry and Cedric. They were as startled as I was. But Ron, he was just... disappointed, he couldn't even look at me. I went over to the Slytherin table. Everyone there greeted me with so much excitement. Then I got this feeling, I can't explain it, but I just felt like... like I was home.
"Draco Malfoy" said Dumbledore
"SLYTHERIN" the hat yelled after only a few seconds
I turned around. And there he was. This beautiful blue eyed, blond boy. He was walking towards the Slytherin table. He looked so proud of himself. I never understood how someone could be proud to be a Slytherin. He sat down right across from me.
"Well, well, well you really are pathetic aren't you " He hissed right as he sat down.
"Why am I pathetic Malfoy"
"Well I have certainly never seen a Slytherin who would willingly talk to a disgusting mud blood such as Hermione"
I just looked him up and down because I realized he wasn't worth wasting my breath. The dinner magically appeared in front of us, but no one really ate much at the Slytherin table. Everyone was too busy talking about how I disgust them for being friends with Hermione. I think most of them genuinely didn't care but gossiped about it only to get on Draco's good side.

"Just ignore them" Said Cedric while we were walking around the castle
"I just don't want them to hurt Hermione, they called her a mud-, well you know"
"They really are arrogant aren't they" Cedric softly smiled

I was sitting in my bed, writing a letter to my parents and thinking about how to tell them that I was placed as a Slytherin but then someone knocked on the door.
"Come in" I yelled
"Hello, my name is Pansy Parkinson I'm pretty sure that we are roommates", she said while pointing at the bed next to mine
We were silent the first hour until I finished the letter and she was done unpacking. But then we started talking an became great friends.
