The Three Stars (Draco Love Story)

One Year

I was sitting down at the Slytherin table as I watched Lily, my little sister standing in line for the sorting hat. Her beautiful blue eyes were shining as she looked at me with so much excitement on her face. I smiled at her to reassure her that everything will be okay. But that was a lie. I had no idea what was going to happened. After that I just zoned out.

"Lily Evans" Dumbledore shouted as I looked up

"HUFFLEPUFF" the sorting hat yelled after a few moments

"You don't say" I thought to myself. I wasn't surprised. She was born and raised to be a Hufflepuff just like the rest of our family. But for some reason I turned out to be the only exception.

"Aww isn't that your baby sister" Pansy said from across the table

I looked up at her and Draco sitting next to her, but I didn't answer. God I couldn't believe him. How could he willingly stay with her all these years? It made me sick to my stomach.

"Hello, I'm, talking to you kittycat" she yelled as she violently waived her hand Infront of my face

"Yes Pansy, that's my sister, but you already knew that because we came here together and we have the same last name, so what do you really want?" I spat

"Just making conversation jeez there is no need to be harsh" She said with a disgusting smirk on her face

The dinner had just started. But I had no appetite because all I could think about was how perfect my life would be if Cedric was still here. He would be sitting next to Lily right now. Since I came here he has been telling me that he is going to be like an older brother to her. Even he knew there was no way she won't be a Hufflepuff. He was so excited and so was I. Look where we are now.

"I need to tell everything to mom and dad" Lily gushed as I was helping her unpack in her dormitory.

"We'll write them letters together, but tomorrow" I said as I hugged her tightly

I tucked her in and went to my room. Pansy wasn't there, so I assumed she was with Draco. I was so thankful. I really needed to be alone right now. I unpacked my things including Cedrick's jumper. I put it on. It was the best feeling ever. After all these months I could still smell he's scent.

"Your sister is a very talented young lady Miss. Evans" Snape said as he was walking around checking everyone's progress

I was shocked. I mean I knew everyone had a soft side but professor Snape?! I just couldn't imagine him complimenting anyone especially if that someone was not one of his precious Slytherins.

"I'm sure she is" Pansy added as he walked away

God she made my blood boil. I just ignored her as always.

Weeks passed. Nothing changed. I was spending most of my time alone or with Hermione and Harry, Pansy was still getting on my nerves and I still haven't talked to Draco. I thought he would be the first person to talk to me as soon as I came back, but he didn't say a word.
Today is a special day. It's a one-year anniversary of the first time Cedric took me up to the tower to watch stars. I put his jumper even though it wasn't cold and went up to the tower. It was beautiful, the sky was clear with no clouds and stars were shining brighter than the moon.

"I wish you were here with me you know" I whispered as I was looking up at the sky

"These are the most beautiful stars that I have ever seen, which means that they are also the most beautiful stars you would have ever seen"

"I just really miss you Buttercup" I stuttered as my eyes filled with tears

I started quietly sobbing, but then I heard a noise come from behind me.
