-Kylo POV-

I left my Darlings room with tears in my eyes and rage flowing in my veins. It's my fault. It's all my fault. I never should have trusted Ushar to go on that mission with her.

I walk down the halls replaying the memory she showed me. She walked into the dark suite and she could feel something was wrong. She called out to Vicrul. No answer. When she finally reached her room she saw the dark shadow and she was planning her escape. I keep replaying what happens after that and each time my blood boils more and more.

I stomp through the halls heading to the Knights quarters. I have to announce what happened and then I have to talk to Vicrul.

The Knights quarters are as usual loud. The other Knights are drinking and chatting but Vicrul is silent on his bed.  I've never thought the Knights to be stupid but it doesn't seem like they notice Ushar is gone.

"Knights." I interrupt their fun. They instantly turn and get on one knee for me.

"Master." They all say together.

"Stand." I command. They comply. "As you may know a certain knight is missing." I continue on. The Knights look around confused, Vicrul keeps his head down.

"Ushar is dead." I say simply and their eyes widen. "He tired to touch y/n. As all of you know that is unacceptable, anyone who tries to touch her will die."

They nod. I tell them training is cancelled for tomorrow. Then I tell Vicrul I need to speak with him in private. Vicrul follows me into the hall.

"Master, I apologize for Ushar I know I-" I hold my hand up to stop his apology.

"Vicrul, you did the right thing. I wanted to thank you. You saved her. I owe you everything." I tell him.

"Thank you Master, I was just protecting her like you asked me to."

I need to get out of this conversation before it turns sappy. "Thank you, that is all." I walk away to stop myself from saying anything more.

I head back to my quarters glad that Ushar is dead and my Darling is safe.

-y/n pov-
You wake the next morning to a nightmare.

It's dark. You're back on Exegol. You're training with the Emperor. There's a dark shadow in the corner watching you.

"Keep going. You're not done yet." The Emperor is pushing you, you're out of breath. You can't push yourself any further.

You drop your saber out of defeat. You need to rest. You're legs feel as if they will give out at any moment.

"Worthless." Palpatine calls out to you in disgust.

You look over to the shadow in the corner, almost as a silent plea. The shadow steps forward to reveal himself. It's Ushar.

You call out to him. He stays in his place, silent, watching you.

"Please" You call out to him again. He steps closer to you, there's a hole through his heart.

You step towards him and reach out to his wound. But suddenly, you're the one who hurt him. The blazing saber is in your hand has it goes through his heart.

He looks into your eyes and calls out to you, but he doesn't call you by your name.

"Play thing." He calls you. His eyes darken and suddenly your being pinned down on your bed, unable to move or breath. Your voice is mute, any attempts to escape is useless.

It goes dark.

You wake up with a scream. Your scream. You sit up in bed, disoriented. You look over at the clock on your bedside table and you see it's 4;30 am. You should try and go to bed but you can't.

You get up out of bed and head to the restroom. You look into your mirror and all you see is a broken, weak girl staring back at you.

You walk out of the bathroom and into your closet. You just need to distract yourself right now.

You pull out black sweatpants and a blank tank top. Your best idea is to go to the training room to clear your head.

The training room is completely empty when you get there. It's dead silent. You go for the treadmill first. You crank it up to speed 7, which is a run. You run until your face is read and there is sweat dripping onto the equipment. When your legs feel like giving out you turn off the treadmill and go for the punching bag instead.

You grunt as you throw what little energy you have left into the punching bag. You first start with an upper cut then a hit to the side. You hit the punching back until your head goes light and you can't feel your hands anymore. You take deep breaths as you step back from the punching bag.

You sit down at a near by bench and get a paper cup of water. You sit on the bench in silence, the only sound filling the air is your heavy breathing.

The door opens up and you turn your head to see who it is. It's Leo.

"You look like shit." He teases you and you laugh.

"I feel like it too." You smile at him and he joins you on the bench. He's dressed in black sweatpants and a black t-shirt like you.

"What are you doing here so early, you hate mornings." He asks you.

"I couldn't sleep. What about you?" You respond.

"Me too." He takes a paper cup and fills it with water, then he takes a sip. "Are you having nightmares again?" He asks you and there's something in is voice, sympathy.

"Yeah, but they're more detailed this time." You explain to him.

"Is this why you've been acting so weird these past two days?" He asks you and you want to tell him what happened but honestly you don't have the heart to.

You nod your head and stand up. "I better get going, I have to get ready for the day and we have those interrogations." Before Leo has a chance to reply you bolt out of the training room and into your quarters.
