The Luna101: Book 1

After a lot of explaining about what we were going to do we finally all got up and walked outside to were the training area is.

"So like I already said, We are going to clean up the ruble and then get out. Then we will do the next part of our plan" Said Ivy for what seemed like the 50th time.

We all walked toward the silver square and stepped over the line. This time I remembered to levitate into a smooth landing. Ivy looked impressed but said nothing. Ivy snapped her fingers and when we walk onto the place where the rock usually disappear and be replaced my lava nothing happened.

"Did you make it so it wouldn't make us fall into lava" I ask Ivy. 

"Yes, I don't think you need to drain your energy on a silly activity. You will need your energy for what we are doing today" Says Ivy looking sad.

We step into the next room and joining forces we clear away a path through the bottles. Then we step into the next room. There is rubble everywhere and I hear something squeak. 

"What was that?" I ask Ivy.

"I didn't know there was one that was still alive!" Says Ivy.

"Quick everyone clear up the rubble" She ads.

The desperation in her voice makes me have a surge of power. I clear away the largest pieces of rubble with a slight pull of my hand. Then I silently walk to were the squeak had come from. 

"Is it safe?" I ask Ivy before going any closer.

Ivy almost looks like she wants to laugh as she says, "Yes, for now at least"

I keep walking forward until I see a little ball of fur huddled on the ground. I glance at Ivy one more time before gently picking up the creature. It is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. It looks sort of like a tiny lion with it's little rim of bright orange fur surrounding it's tiny kitten like face it also had to little horns sticking out of its head. I am admiring it's cuteness when I hear a soft hissing noise. I nearly drop the small creature as I see a skinny green snake rise up from the back of it's but. 

"It is a Chimera" Says Ivy.

"But aren't Chimera's half goat also?" I ask.

She just points at its horns. The little creature purrs and curls up in a ball in my arm. Ivy walks over to take the Chimera from me but it gets up and growlers.

"I know this might sound crazy but you have to keep it. It has chosen you." Says Ivy.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"When a Chimera is still young like this one" She says pointing at the Chimera in my arms.

"It picks someone to be its leader or owner" She finishes.

"So this little guy is mine??" I ask looking down at the now snoring kitten.

"Yup. I would say 'if you want to' but it would scratch through your door just to get into your room to be with you" she says smiling.

I suddenly see the red that is on its back.  

"We need to get it an ointment!! Its losing blood!" I say.

I imagine being in the nurses area and when I open my eyes I am there with Ivy.

"Ups" I say.

"Its ok. I knew you would learn how to do that soon enough" She says.

We treat the little kitten and then Ivy hands me a shiny bag.

"Put her in there" Says Ivy pointing to the bag.

"She will freak out if she wakes up and your not there" She says.

"Ok" I say.

I pick up the kitten and put it in the bag gently. Then I grab Ivy's hand and she brings me back to the training room. We clear up the rest of the rubble then we head back to The Golden Room.

"So, do you know why I changed the clothes in your closet to the clothes that you used to wear in L.A?" Asks Ivy the second we all sit down.

We all shake our heads, even Jayden. 

"Because we are leaving this hideout and kidnapping one of the video game characters" She says.

"If all goes as planned" Says Ember from the shadows.

"Oh yes, I forgot to mention, Ember is coming with us." Says Ivy looking at Ember.

As we walk out of the room with Ember following us the shiny bag with the kitten in it moves.

"Oh one last thing. Her name is Reya" Whispers Ivy in my ear pointing at the Chimera in the bag.
