"I heard we are going to continue presenting our science projects in Miss. Washington's class today." Evelyn smiles. 

"Great!" I chirp as Evelyn and I walk into Miss Washington's class. 

"Why hello there, ladies! Have a seat!" Miss Washington smiles as we walk to our seats in her classroom. The bell rings, and she closes the door. 

"Now, class, we will be continuing presenting our science projects today!" Miss. Washington cheers, and the class and I groaned. 

"That's the spirit!" she chuckles as she opens up a notebook and clicks a pen. 

"Alexander, care to go first?" Miss. Washington asks, looking at a boy. He nods and grabs his project from the back of the classroom. Alexander stands at the front of the classroom and begins explaining his project about model rockets. This is gonna be the longest science class ever.

Ten minutes later

"Thank you, Eliza!" Miss. Washington smiles as a girl finishes presenting and walks back to her desk. "Who would like to present?" she asks. The kid behind me, Ace, raises his hand with excitement. "Ace! Come on down!" Miss Washington chirps, as Ace gets up and walks to Miss Washington. 

"Where is your project?" she wonders. "It is not in the classroom at the time. One moment, let me get it." Ace declares, walking out of the classroom. A few minutes later, Ace steps back into the room, pushing a cart with a big silver machine with flashing blue and red lights. The class gasps, and so does Miss Washington. "

Presenting, the 'Switch-A-Roo 3000'!" Ace announces, and the class claps. 

"What is this, Ace!? You created this all by yourself?" Miss Washington marveled. 

"Indeed, I did! Gather around fellow classmates!" Ace smiles, and the whole class got up and next to the machine. 

"This machine is something never seen before!" he shouts. 

"The 'Switch-A-Roo 3000' can make you Switch Bodies!" he proclaimed, and the class gasped. This kid has made outstanding machines and gadgets before, but never something like this! 

"You created a machine that can switch bodies at thirteen years old!" Miss Washington gasped. 

"Yes, yes, I did. Now, who would like to volunteer?" he asks, and I shoot my hand into the air. 

"Kit, you have been chosen as my volunteer. Now, I recommend everyone to step back." Ace instructs. as everyone takes a step back. 

"Now, how this works is that you have to think of someone to switch bodies. Try switching bodies with your dear friend Evelyn." he explains, and Evelyns face lights up. 

"This won't hurt at all," he smirks. 

"Just think about Evelyn." he states as he flips a few switches. Olivia Rodrigo's song plays stuck in my head like there's no room to think about Evelyn. 

"Now!" Ace shouts, slamming a red button. A bright blue laser shoots out the front and blasts at me. No! I wasn't thinking about Evelyn! 

"Ahhhhhhh!" I yell at the top of my lungs in fear. My skin tingles, and my head hurts. My vision starts fading. I can feel my body falling away, and my eyes slam shut.
