The ending bell rings, "Okay, everyone! Have a wonderful rest of your day!" Ms. Martin waves goodbye as the class floods out of the art classroom. 

I think I got the hang of being Kit! Well, it's a lot easier because I don't have to talk as much, but that's easy! 

Evelyn catches up to me, "Hey! Wanna head to the library?" Evelyn chirps. 

"Oh, I- uh, sure!" I grin. I open Kit's locker and place all the books inside. I pull out Kit's phone from a pant pocket, her wallpaper a collage of pictures of the cast of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, including me. That's so cute! 

I type my phone number into the phone, "Who are you calling?" Evelyn asks.

 "Oh, just uh- my Mom." I stutter, and she shrugs, then continues to put books into her locker. 

"Hey!" Kit greets in my voice. "

Hi, Mom!" I bubbled. 

"Mom? I ain't your Mom." Kit states. 

"I know, Mom." I smile a nervous smile. 

"Oooh, you're using code words! Cool!" she beams. 

"I know! What do you want me to do now?" I ask. 

"Okay, what I want you to do is go to the library, Ace will most likely be there. He'll explain things more in detail." Kit explains. "Okay, great. Evelyn and I were just planning on going there." I address. "Alrighty then, Goodbye!" she chirps. "Bye!" hang up, and I place the phone in the pant pocket and shut the locker door. "Let's go!" I grin, and Evelyn and I start walking to the library. 

"So, what homework do you want to do first?" she questions. "I don't really know. What works best for you." I grin. 

"Oh, well, okay! Now, back to the Olivia and Joshua topic. They seriously have to like each other!" she cheers, and I go wide-eyed. 

People don't actually think Joshua and I are dating, right? We're just friends! Is it not obvious? 

"Olivia's new song is such a bop! Don't you think!" Evelyn smiles, humming the tune to my newest song. 

Wait, she's talking about me. 

"And the lyrics are literally pointing to Joshua Bassett! Brown eyes, cute smile and a heart of gold!" she expressed. 

When I write songs, they don't really point to someone. I just write whatever sounds pretty.

"O-oh, yeah! Totally!" I show a nervous face. 

Evelyn looks down at her feet, "Imagine if Joshua Bassett and Olivia Rodrigo were keeping their relationship a secret! That would be so cool!" she cheers. 

Wow, people actually think that we are dating... 

"Yeah! Like they won't hold hands in public, but when they're alone, they'll be all boyfriend and girlfriend!" I add. 

"Just like that!" she smiles. 

Then a boy, probably our age, with curly brown hair and brown eyes, literally like a mini Joshua and walks in front of me. 

"Hey, Kit." the mini Joshy boy smirks. 

"Go away Cameron, Kit doesn't like you." Evelyn states, looking at him in the eye. 

"You look beautiful today." the mini Joshua compliments. 

"Oh, I- umm- thank you." I say, lightly flipping my new blonde hair out of my face.
