Chapter 6
"So what do you say?" I ask Mr. and Mrs. Dwight.
"I think it is just right that you live with your father. Your time living with us is over. But remember this will always be your home and you can go here anytime you want. You are practically our daughter." Bob smiled at me with fatherly love while Diana a.k.a Mrs. Dwight was crying softly.
"Thank you. Thank you for everything that you've done for me. I'm so sorry that I have to leave but I promise to visit you guys every time I can. And Bob I hope I still can go to your pub and practice there, if that's all right?"
"Always." Says Bob. He put an arm around Diana and kisses her forehead.
"Diana, don't cry. You know I'll still be seeing you often. I just can't resist your delicious cooking." I say making her laugh despite her tears.
"Oh child. I'm going to miss you so much. You're like the daughter I never had." She said lovingly. She stood up and gave me a fierce hug and a kiss on the cheek. Bob did the same. I bid my goodbye and headed to my new home where my real father was waiting.
To say that the penthouse was gorgeous was an understatement. It was so huge; I wonder how my father and I would see each other here.
My room was five times the size of my old bedroom in the Dwight's place. It was beautiful. I have a king size bed with very soft pillows. The color of the room was rose pink, not my type, but I don't really mind. I have plush velvet chairs, soft white carpet, and my own study table with an iMac, shelves with books, a fireplace, and a floor to ceiling window that over looks the city. It was a beautiful view and beautiful room.
My bathroom was unbelievable. I have my own walk in closet that is filled with designer clothes and shoes. A drawer filled with different accessories and real jewelries. A huge vanity set with expensive perfumes and make-ups. And a huge bathtub fit for a princess with ceiling shower. Is this over the top or what?
"Do you like it?" I jumped in surprise when I heard my father's voice. "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."
"Like it? I love it. This is awesome." I said in awe. My father smiled and nodded.
"Dinner will be served in an hour. Your friends are waiting for you outside." He said.
"They are?" I said in surprise, excitement bubbling up inside me.
"Yes. Don't fix you're things. I'll ask someone to fix it for you."
"Thank you." I said and hurried to where my friends are, making my father laugh.
"Hey guys." I say, breathless from the running.
"You're a lucky bitch." Spencer whispers in awe as she looks around the penthouse.
"No. We all are lucky bitches to have her as a friend. We get to stay here in this haven." Kat countered.
"Where are the guys?" I ask.
"This is awesome! You have three fully stored refrigerators and a closet filled with chips and other yummy stuff. It's like having your own freakn' grocery store. I will never leave this place." Said Ethan excitedly, coming out from the kitchen.
"You haven't seen the best part." Kyle countered in amazement, coming out from a hallway.
"You guys! I haven't even fully toured my own house yet!" I said in mock frustration.
"You people should follow me." Kyle said giddily. He looked like he wanted to jump up and down with happiness. We all followed him to the hallway he came from and stop in front of a huge two doors. "Prepare for the ultimate heaven." He said before opening it.
