Brian May (when he was in Smile)

I was best friends with Brian May and his friend Roger. They were with me through everything from when my mom died to getting stood up on some lame date. I was going out to lunch with Brian today, he said he had big news. I put on some black straight leg jeans and a dark dress button up shirt. I paired it with some black jewelry and black chunky shoes. Brian told me to meet him at the fish and chip shop at noon. I really hoped the big news was something positive, last time he said he had news it was that he got Roger out of a party without him being blackout drunk. I decided to walk to the shop, it was pretty close to my apartment so it was easier. I got there pretty early so I decided to go to the record shop next door. I got some Black Sabbath and The Doors and then headed out. I saw Brian waiting for me and went to join him.
"Hey bri!"
"Oh hey y/n!" He was smiling
"So I hear you've got big news!"
"Ya! Let's get food and then I'll tell ya."
We ordered our food and ate. We then went on a walk so he could tell me the news.
"Ok so what's the big news, it better not be something about Roger!"
"It's not about Roger. Well I've been in school for awhile to become an astrophysicist and..."
I eagerly looked at him wondering what he would say.
"I graduated!" He said
"BRIAN I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!" I yelled
"Ok let's have a movie night at my house to celebrate."
"Sounds good I'll see you there tonight." He replied
I went back to my apartment to clean everything up. After everything was clean, I lit a candle and started to read a magazine until Brian came. He came at about nine at night and looked through the movies. We decided to watch some cheesy horror movie. About thirty minutes into the movie Brian tapped my shoulder.
"Hmm?"
"I've got something to tell ye y/n."
"Ok." I paused the movie and turned on the lights.
"Well you've been so good to me and I just kinda like you." He looked up at me with a worried look
"Aw Brian I like you too." I smiled
"No I mean I like you, as more than a friend." He blushed
"Brian I know, I like you too, kinda a lot. I've been trying to keep it a secrete cuz I always thought you liked someone else."
We turned the movie back on and tried to focus. So many thoughts were going through my head. Why did he like me? Did he mean it? Does this mean anything? Will it ruin our friendship? I hadn't noticed him put his arm around my shoulder. I snuggled in closer to him, smelling his cologne. A few more minutes went by and Brian got bored. He tried to keep focused with it was obvious he was bored of the movie. I looked up at him into his eyes, then looked at his lips and licked mine, and then focused on his eyes again. He suddenly leaned in and kissed me. He was so gentle and sweet. His hands went to my waist as mine snaked around his shoulders. He tasted of tea and honey. We finished the movie and I fell asleep cuddled up with him on the couch. We awoke in the morning to Roger scream. I bolted upright to see Roger with a surprised look.
"We can explain!" Brian and I yelled.
"I- so you two are like a thing?" Roger questioned
"I'm not sure." I looked over at Brian
"Would you wanna be a thing?" He smiled
I nodded and blushed.
"Ok but you two could have told me because any moment I could've walked in on something." Roger said
I made breakfast for everyone and Roger soon left. Me and Brian cuddled and chatted for the rest of the day. I'm so happy that he's finally mine.

Ok so I need some requests because my writers block is really bad lately. Anyways haha this chapter was rushed so it's kinda boring. Updates might be slow because I'm in school. Peace and love! ☮️💖
