The next day, Gabriel and I set out on a mission, to capture and kill our people's next meal. The trees blurred as we ran, chasing the large black cat in front of us. She leapt and bounded, making it hard to keep up with her succesfully. Her sleek dark figure disappearing into the thick underbrush. Gabriel drew my attention over to a clearing, where I spotted her skirting the edge, she looked as if she weres waiting for something.

We crept quietly, among the trees, but I spotted something in a tree in the clearing. "Gabriel look." I said, pointing over to the boy in the tree. Gabriel and I shared a look, and he nodded. When we turned around, ready to charge the cat, she was alredy long gone. I frowned quietly why had she taken off like that? There was a meal waiting helplessly in a tree a few feet away. "Maybe she wants her dinner to fight back." Gabriel said, yet again reading my mind.

I laughed softly as we approached the boy in the tree. Gabriel went up first, and I followed, making very little noise. I looked at him, and immediately knew, he'd been speared. "By one of our people?" I nodded, "It's likely. This is our land." I leaned closer to inspect it, they'd attached a poultice to the wound. I frowned, "He'll be poisoned." Gabriel told me quietly. I nodded, "But what do you want us to do?" I asked already knowing.

"The antidote. You have the antidotes." I shook my head, "In my cave." he nodded, "I'll go get it. Wait here." he said and disappeared into the trees. I quickly climbed back down to the ground, and made quick work of scaling a neaarby tree, with a view of the clearing. My eyes were fixed on the dark shadow lurking several feet away. Gabriel appeared at the foot of the tree I was in, he was breathing heavily and motioned for me to come down.

"Here, go." he said and I sighed, but nodded. I took the small vial, and scaled the tree. The boy had since woken up, and seeing me scared him, or shocked him. I pressed a finger to my lips, trying to get him to quiet down, there was a hungry cat not far away and he was just ringing the dinner bell. "Pelase, stop." I said, in English. he froze for a moment, "You must drink this." trying to get closer.

"Please, you have to drink, or you will die." I said serioously, but he kept fighting. I heard Gabriel whistle, danger was coming. "Jasper!" a voice exclaimed. I turned quickly to see five others enter the clearing. I growled lowly, that cat would charge in here soon. They were all staring between myself and this 'Jasper'. The girl ran forward, and almost fell into a pit of spikes. But Bellamy saved her. Clarke.

"She's coming!" Gabriel yelled, and my eyes snapped to the entrance of the clearing, the cat was indeed coming. she stalked forward and leapt, but one of them attacked with a weapon I'd never seen before, but he didn't hit it. I whistled once, and soon Gabriel was by my side. The Sky People had backed away from the brush and we jumped down, goimg around either side of her.

I jabbed the grass with my spear, testing it, keeping a safe distance. I noticed the others climbing the tree. Two males, the others were standing on alert at the foot of the tree. The cat darted quickly frow the tall grass, and growled at us, agitatedly. I threw my spear, but she dodged it quickly. Gabriel approached slowly, and she matched his pace. The two moved in a circle slowly.

When her back was to me, I saw the opprtunity Gabriel afforded me as he stopped. I jumped onto her back. She tried to throw me from her shoulders, but I made quick work of slicing her throat. She slumped to the ground, and I got off, Gabriel came over and wrapped me in a hug, "We need to go. Now." he said seriously and I nodded. I couldn't agree more. If Anya ever got word of what happened here, we were both dead.

We started for the tree line, he grabbed my spear and tossed it to me, I laughed and caught it easily as we started scaling the trees. I looked back once, when we were under cover of the leaves, I saw Bellamy whirling in circles, looking for us and I laughed softly, following after Gabriel who led us to a herd of deer. There was no way we could go back empty handed. Not after being gone all day. Anya would never let us leave again.
