Chapter Twenty

"Omg! You really did well in surfing!"

Megan told me smiling. I met her here in Siargao about a week ago. She's a beginner in surfing so she always watch me surf.

Simula nang makulong si daddy, bumalik ako dito sa Siargao. I want to continue it alone again. After this, I will be doing my house. I never visited dad also. I'm mad at him. I'm mad at Bon. I'm mad at myself. Hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin alam kung maniniwala ako but when I always remember the clues I heard and doubts with daddy, I'm also being pro about his case with tito Carlos. Tito Carlos is also important to me. Kahit ilang beses lang kami nagkita at nagkausap, he's been a good father to Bon and a good father to business world. Hindi ko din matanggap hanggang ngayon na nawala na siya given the fact that dad was the one in the crime. It was chaotic.

"Thank you. Sabi ko naman sayo magtuto ka na din lagi, it's just easy!" She laughed and clang her hands in my arm. I put down my surf board and squeeze my hair.

"More panlalalaki muna gagawin ko!" Napaismid ako sakanya at natawa na lang.

After that, we swam and then went back to our respective casita. Nakilala ko si Megan dahil isa din siya sa guest dito sa resort. Although kakarating niya lang din weeks ago but then, we became friends too. Wala naman akong ibang magiging kaibigan kundi siya talaga dahil katabi ng casita ko ay sakanya na. Umalis na kasi doon yung guy na dating nag rent doon. So it's good thing that I met her for a better enclosure everytime I want to stroll around or whatever. Girl thingy, though.

After swimming, we decided to go at a restobar here in General Luna, Siargao in the town proper. We already had our dinner before we go there so it is convenient because we don't need to eat at the resto there. Balak lang talaga naming magsaya ni Megan after a loooong day. Puro surfing and swimming kasi ginawa namin simula umaga. Ganon din ang ginagawa ko everyday or sometimes staying at my casita watching movies or calling Architect Pelaez for my upcoming house. Yes. Si Architect Pelaez ang napili ko. It was funny but life goes by. May issue or kung ano man dati sakanya, wala na 'yon. Besides, it's not my story to tell and not my story to problem with kaya okay kami. But going back, my routine for the whole months I'm staying here is basically surfing, surfing, surfing. Bonus na lang yung iba kong ginagawa personally. Kaya naman tan na talaga ang balat ko which I love very much. Tagal kong hinintay na mangyari 'to and I did. I was enjoying every bit of my time here in Siargao. And I must say, mostly, maybe, I'm progressing? It's been a year and months since we broke up and 2 months since I didn't see him again after our rendezvous in the court. Maybe, I can move on or I'm moved on already? I don't know. The important thing is, I am happy as of the moment because I actually doing my want since day 1---to surf and to be with the beach.

I wore a yellow silk fitted dress ending above the knee and my sandals. I also put a bandana on my long hair as part of my usual routine. Ewan ko kung bagay but I super duper love bandanas! Nagsuot din ako ng round earings and some necklaces to be a little extra. I put a simple make-up on my face and grabbed my purse when I finished.

I laughed and took a last glance in the mirror before I went out. And there she is. Wearing a daring attire! Omygosh. She never failed to surprise me! Hindi ko alam kung anong motibo niya sa suot niya dahil parang luluwa na lahat ng kaluluwa niya.

"Kung makatingin ka akala mo naman ngayon mo lang ako nakita magsuot ng ganito!" I chuckled at her and closed the door.

Tiningnan ko pa siya ulit mula ulo hanggang paa bago tumawa. "Lakas talaga ng loob mo. Hindi ko keri ganyan, gosh." She rolled her eyes.
