Waking up I saw a flurry of movement from my dorm mates. Lavender was running around pulling clothes from her trunk and throwing them everywhere. Parvati was half dressed and flailing back and forth from the bathroom and the dorm. She was in the midst of getting changed and doing her hair. I shared a horrified look with Hermione, we both shuddered and got out of our beds. I managed to get to the bathroom unscathed and I quickly took a shower.

Coming out of the bathroom I had a sweater land over my face, I huffed and peeled it off. Handing it back to Lavender she squeaked an apology and continued rifling through her clothes.

Hermione was already dressed in a jumper, muggle jeans, and a coat. She smiled at me and went into the bathroom. I opened my trunk and pulled out the first non-uniform clothes I saw. It was a light purple off the shoulder sweater and grey jeans. I pulled out the leather jacket that Andy had gotten me. I quickly threw them on and grabbed Hermione's hand as she left the restroom and helped pull her out of the room.

We laughed down the stairs at our dorm mates' antics, it was our very first visit to Hogsmeade and we were permitted to wear normal clothes. They were running around trying to do everything to look cute. They didn't need to do anything, but I guess some people need to realized that for themselves.

Hermione and I parted ways at the common room, she went with her friends and I left with Ginny, Neville and Colin. We met with Anya in the Great Hall she sat at our table and only a few people sent her dirty looks, I managed to counter each and every single one of them.

Neville and I would be going by ourselves since the other three were too young. Colin gave Neville his list with the money and Anya gave me a foot long scroll filled to the brimmed with things she wanted. She gave me a handful of galleons for it all and my eyes widen at her. "Do you want me to bring back the entire village?" I asked sarcastically.

"Nah, only Zonko's, The Three broomsticks, and Honeydukes. That should be enough... for now." She grinned at me. Ginny just smiled at our interaction; she didn't have the money for sweets. I had an inkling that half of the list was things for Ginny and Anya didn't want Ginny to know. We both knew she would refuse.

After breakfast Neville and I joined everyone else at the front doors. Mr. Filch was standing at the entrance with Mrs. Norris and he was checking everyone off of a list. Making sure no one snuck out. It took a while for everyone to get through Mr. Fitch's checkpoint but Neville and I finally climbed into a carriage.

Hermione and Ron joined us before the carriage took off. It was weird seeing them without Harry, he didn't have permission to go. We rode in silence and finally got the Village. I was the first out of the carriage and Neville and I took off to go see shops.

We agreed to visit Honey dukes last, we didn't want to carry all those sweets around all day. We visited Dervish and Bages first, it was a wizarding shop, Neville bought a wand servicing kit.

His wand used to belong to his father and he wanted to do the best he could at taking care of it. I squeezed his shoulder; he hadn't told us the story of his parents and he didn't need to. I knew what happened to his parents, but I never told him I knew. He would come to us when he ready, if he ever was. We visited the other shops first, letting everyone else crowd Zonko's and Honey dukes.

The post office had hundreds of Owls and were color-coded by how fast you needed mail delivered. We finally entered Zonko's and the rush of kids had died down. There were rows upon rows of joke products. I grabbed a few harmless ones Neville grabbed a few mild ones; I raised my eyebrow at him and he quickly pointed at Colin's list.

Ah, hopefully Colin doesn't try to send this home to his little brother. I passed Fred and George who looked like they could live here. They were scribbling things down on a piece of parchment while picking up joke product after joke product; I would hate to be the victim of that plan.
