That One Thing

"Princess, wake up!"

Cecily groaned, opening her eyes and letting them in adjust in the still-dark room. Jimin grumbled and dug his face deeper into her pillow, making Jin do the same on her other side. She looked up and to the side, an excited Jeongguk making her smile despite being roused from her sleep.

"Kook?" she asked groggily, "What's going on?"

"Last day of the full moon," he was practically vibrating, "Let's go for a run before it sets and the sun comes up!"

The idea of going for a wolf run buzzed through her veins, seeing the moon before it began to visibly wane set her as high as the man softly hopping from foot to foot as she began to peel herself out of her warm snuggle. She caught the smirk on Jeongguk's face as she tried to  best to cover the nudity of both Jin and Jimin, the protective need to make sure her husbands were unseen warring with her need to extract herself from their arms in a timely fashion.. Huffing out a low chuckle, Jeongguk rolled his eyes and leaned forward to help her out, placing pillows in front of each man so they wouldn't miss her presence as much. Cecily thanked him quietly, standing and stretching to her full height with her arms over her head, Jeongguk gulped as he looked her over with wide eyes.

Cecily giggled, "You've seen me naked before," she reminded him, "Not a few days ago when we last went for a run, remember?"

"I remember," he blushed, leading her to the chest at the other side of the room to grab her pelt, "That's not something easy to forget, Princess."

"Then stop acting so shy," she slid her arms around him from behind, "One day, you'll be my husbands as well, ready to take advantage of my form as you see fit."

Jeongguk's hands left the pelt, dropping it on top of the chest and turning to snatch Cecily closer to him, his dark eyes glowing gold in the inky twilight, "One day?" his voice dropped in timbre, "That sounds so far away, Princess."

Cecily recognized his tone, having heard it many times from the multitude of men in the house, "One day," she whispered, "But today is for running."

She held back laughter, kissing him on the nose and grabbing her pelt before scampering away through the open door and down the hall. By the time Jeongguk had taken a few breaths to calm himself and follow after, he was met with a small wolf running in hyper circles at the front door. Knowing he wasn't going to get much further without the promised run, he rolled his eyes and chuckled again as he opened the door, following after and changing as he ran to catch up with his precious pup.

Jeongguk howled playfully, running after Cecily as she tore around the edge of the small lake just outside of the property line. His paws carried him faster than she could manage, but he liked chasing after her and letting her get away to chase her again. She was an exhilarating creature, both as a human and as a wolf, the very thought of her making his heart race and his chest sweel with affection. He was enamored with her in ways he'd never thought possible, and she flooded his every thought and decision throughout the day and night.

In short, he was in love.

'Got you' he projected his thought a second before leaping, hoping to give her a chance to evade and continue the game.

He nearly toppled over her in surprise, when she whipped around and allowed him to collide with her and take her down easily. He towered over her as she lay on her side, his chocolate eyes catching her ocean and emerald ones as she turned her muzzle toward his.

'You're beautiful,' he thought to her, unable to keep the awe out of his voice even as it traveled through their minds.

'Kook,' she returned, rolling onto her back and exposing the soft fur of her belly, 'Shift with me.'
