Jc's POV

I felt a very light tapping from my fingers. I sighed with relief. At least one of them is still alive even if it was faint.

just then four men in uniform holding stretcher busted in through the from door. I was pushed away from him as they worked over him.

"We have to get him out of here now if he's to stay alive." One of the men urged. The others complied and lifted him onto the gurney. A police officer talking into his shoulder motioned to me.

I strode over to him, and he talked firmly to me. "We found the girl you spoke about."

"Alive? She's alive right?" I prepared myself for the worse and gripped the cop for balance, for my vision had blurred and suddenly felt nauseous.

"Yes, she is alive we have forensics headed over here, so if you want me to ta- "

I cut him off "yes please!" I ran out to the yard to hop into his car. He followed with a slight chuckle. And opened up the passenger door of a blue Cadillac, and I jumped in ready to see my baby.

When we arrived at the scene of the accident my heart dropped at the sight of all of the blood and body parts scattered across the street.

I spotted Maggie wrapped in a blanket and sitting in the back of an ambulance with a bunch of paramedics surrounding her. I lurched out of the car and sprinted as fast as I could toward her. When she spotted me she pushed away the men and stumbled toward me. I pulled her into an embrace and held her. While she wept into my chest. I nuzzled her hair and I let a single tear run down my cheek. I pushed back and held her face to study her.

Her eyes were bloodshot, weary looking. her cheeks were flushed and streaked with tears. I wiped them away with my thumbs.

She looked at me, and sighed with relief and then crushed her lips into mine. I pulled her closer by her hips and hugged her as hard as I could. I loved the feeling of having someone. To call them my own.

Maggie's POV

I sat, depressed and angry at Dylan for causing me so much anguish. Paramedics surrounding me, checking my vitals.

A car pulled up and I saw Jc jump out. My heart leaped and instantly tears flooded my eyes as I attempted to run towards him. he caught me and held me close to him. he pulled away and held my face. He was so perfect, I thought to myself. I crushed my lips into his and he hugged me even tighter.

I broke the kiss and hugged him again. Where is Joey?" I asked scared for the loss of my best and only friend.

"I don't know I just found out where you were a couple minutes ago." He concluded

"I need to find out" I demanded with a quavering voice.

"Well let's go find out." Jc replied firmly. We confronted the police standing near the wreck.

"Hi, I'm Jc Caylen and this my girlfriend, Maggie Morgan, we were wondering if you had any information on the other victim, Joey Morgan?" Jc asked politely.

"So you're family of the victim?" The cop questioned us.

"Yes, sir."

"He is in critical condition at the St. Lewis hospital in Santa Barbara." The cop answered.

"But that's two hours from here!" I chimed in.

"I'm sorry ma'am." He said and turned away.

"Jc... I-I I don- "

He cut me off with "I'll take you to Santa Barbara." He smiled.

I lept from his arms and hugged him around the neck graciously.

"Can we go now? I don't want to go back to the house to see where Joey... you know" my voice trailed off.

"Yeah it's okay. but I got a ride here so we will have to get a cab back to my house to get my car." Jc informed me.

"Deal"

After we went inside, I looked down at my cloths and saw Dylan's blood. Splattered across my shirt, I gasped and clasped my hands over my mouth. Jc walked towards me, and handed me a pair of his sweats and a t-shirt. I smiled at him gratefully.

"I'm going to take a shower and then I'll be ready to go" I hollered as I left for the bathroom.

"Aight"

After we were both showered and were in new cloths. we headed out to his car. The sun was just beginning to rise as we set off for Santa Barbra.
