Chapter : 21 - The Mini Aryan And Annu.
I opened the door and he stood behind me. Sweety came into view. She smiled at us and moved to reveal two very chubby kids with curly hair, who resembled a lot eachother. Their round eyes looked at me and Aryan behind me and I simply smiled at them.
"Guys, meet my little sister Tannu and my little brother Aaru." She gestured to them and they blinked nervously at us.
"Hey, why are you guys still out? Get in." He said and both of them reluctantly walked in.
"Okay guys I'll leave, as you know me I'm already running late. Thanks again for watching over them." She said giving us a quick hug and she turned to the twins, "Don't trouble both of them, be good." She said to them ruffling their hair and went away waving goodbye.
I closed the door and turned around to them. Both of them sat on the couch and Aryan sat across them trying to strike a conversation.
I usually don't like kids much, but these two look really cute. Both of them have really coiled curly hair just like Sweety. Their faces were round and extremely chubby with red cheeks, round brown eyes and tiny nose. They somehow reminded me of Aryan and I when we were kids. I automatically smiled at the memories and shook my head and walked to them. And sat beside Aryan.
"So, you're Aaru and you're Tannu right?" I asked nervously as the kids only talked to Aryan till now. Aryan was surprisingly good with kids. He always loved kids so much and he was really great with them, but I sucked as always.
"Yes. I'm Tania and he's Aarush. But people call us Tannu and Aaru." The little chubby girl spoke in a doll like voice swinging her legs back and forth. And her brother extended his tiny hand to shake hands with me and I grinned at his really cute gesture.
"I'm really glad to meet you Aaru." I shook my hand with his and he gave an adorable grin.
"Pleasure is all mine milady." He kissed the back my palm and Aryan watched him wide eyed batting his lashes and I burst into laughter at his little gestures.
"Well... someone here is quite a charmer." I said touching his bouncy red cheeks. He wore a light blue linen shirt with khaki shorts and tan brown shoes.
"He is always like that!" Tannu groaned irritated at her brother. Tannu was dressed quite opposite to her brother, she wore blue denims, a marvel t-shirt and a red flannel shirt on it. The best thing was she wore the same tiny black high-top converse like me! She overall dressed like me! And Aaru like Aryan!
"What's your name?" Tannu asked Aryan grinning. "You're eyes are green! Wow!"
"Thank you, princess. I didn't tell you, sorry. I'm Aryan." Aryan said with a smile.
"Nice. But I'm not princess." She said and Aryan turned to me stiffling a laugh. "And you?" She said turning to me.
"I'm Anaaya." I said and shook hands with her.
"Well, I like your name, well I like you. Can I can I call you Anaaya?" Aaru asked batting his lashes.
"Of course. Of course you can call me just Anaaya." I grinned.
"Then I'll call you Aryan. You're just too handsome to call you bhaiya." Tannu said and Aryan and I exchanged glances and I bit my tongue. Oh.
"I like you." Aryan said chuckling.
"Are you guys hungry? Can I get you guys something?" I asked the two kids in front of me.
"No. We're good for now." Both of them said adorably.
