We all shivered as we read our message of Jacob. Mine read:
'Only 5 hours to go until I get to see your milky white skin covered in your sweat and blood. ~Jacob.xxx'
I felt sick. Sick that there is some idiot out there messaging these creepy messages. I normally didn't let things get to me, but this was hard to let go. I put on a brave face. I'm not going to let a prick-face ruin tonight. "So, who's up for some Woman In Black and then a Final Destination Marathon?" I asked, breaking the awkwardness that filled the room.
"Yeah, okay. I guess however scary they are, they can put our minds off this bastard." Mumbled Emily. We all look at her, it was the first time we've ever heard her swear, and say yes to watching a horror film. She leant over and inserted Woman In Black into her DVD player, turned off her phone and sat onto her large couch. We all followed, still astonished to her bravery. To anyone else, it doesn't sound like such a big deal, yet not many people know Emily the way we do.
Olivia's reaction has to be the best to Woman In Black. She kept hiding behind Emily's six foot teddy bear. Rachael kept tricking her, saying it was okay to look on the scary bits. Olivia constantly screaming. Yet Emily barely jumped. I don't even think she blinked. As soon as the credit popped up on the television screen, Emily flew over to her phone, turning it back on. "Who's up for Final Destination?" I shout. Rachael throws her hands up, exited as it's her favourite horror film. I shoot to the TV, taking out Woman In Black and switch it to Final Destination. I look back, to see Olivia curled into the six foot teddy, snoring. Rachael was just staring at her, stroking her hair.
"Listen, I'm going to go to sleep. You two watch this and go to sleep whenever you like." Emily muttered, crawling into the bottom bunk of her bed.
"What's her problem?" Whispered Rachael.
"I don't know. She's been dead weird all day. You don't think it's got something to do with Liam do you? Or even Jacob? Did she tell you what he messaged her?" I asked. She shook her head, probably asking herself how Jacob got all our numbers.
"Shauna," She began, "I'm actually going to go to sleep, I don't like this. See you in the morning." She lightly kissed my check and walked to her sleeping bag. I was too scared to go to sleep, in case Jacob was actually going to get me. I was just paranoid, I headed over to Emily's bed and climbed the ladder to the top bunk, laughing at the thought of Jacob kidnapping us all. I lay down in the bed, snuggled into the bed covers, one leg out of the cover, one inside. My eyes descended into the back of my head, my eyelids hanging over my eyes, like icing hanging over a cake. A flash of light raced over my eyes and a face appeared. My eyes shot open, and I was laid on a wooden floor, surrounded by what seemed like disembodied limbs.
