Chapter 10

Summer saw them about to kiss, and
She had to think fast.
She squirted water in between them. They looked up to see what it was.

"Summer?" They both said.

"What are you doing he-"
Before he could finish she flew off.
"Phew." Summer thought.

When they remembered what they were about to do, they freaked out.

"Oh uhm, I'm s-sorry i...just wasn't
th-thinking..." Crystal said,
embarrassed."
"There's no need to be sorry" Said Winger. "Do you wanna race back to the roost?"
He put his game face on. "Oh, and I'm going to win."

"Wanna bet?"

"It's On."

she did one of those 'I'm-going-to-win-and-you-know-it-faces' (you know what I'm talking about. Y'know,
when your best friend makes a really dumb bet.).

"3..."
"2..."
"1..."
"GO!"
They shouted as they zoomed off into the clouds.
Cutter was outside and all he saw was two Swiftwings panting for breath as they crash landed into the yard, head first with their tails over their heads.

They both gasped for air and yelled:

"Who won!?!"

"Umm....I....don't know...?"

"We are sooooo having a rematch but for now, let's just go inside." Said Crystal.

"I agree" Winger responded. They all headed back inside to chat while waiting for everyone to wake

When they all woke up, Cutter volunteered to go fishing with Burple Dak, Layla,and Aggro.
The only ones who stayed behind were Winger, Summer and Crystal.

There was a sheer silence between them.

Crystal broke the silence saying "You guys know we have to leave in three days. Today is the eleventh day."

"Speaking of Today..." Winger said. they both looked at Summer.

"What was all that about? You got me soaked!"

"Did you come to finally be my friend!?" Crystal said excitedly

"Umm," she glanced a Winger, who was now confused. "Yeah....!" She lied. and one the abilities Winger (for some reason) was whenever someone lies, his eyes glow.

Winger's eyes started to glow

"Can me and Summer talk, alone." He said to Crystal.

"Sure!" Said Crystal who was now sunshine and rainbows the rest of the day.

Winger said "I-I know you were lying."He stammered a bit. He still loved Summer, so he was not okay with being alone with her. "What are talking about?" She asked nervously.

Winger's scales turned hot from being alone with Summer and so did his face.

"Are you-"

"I'm fine." He said."but answer the question quickly." Everything on him was turning sizzling hot.

"I can't take it!" He said in his head.

"You know what? Think of your answer and I'll come back later" he said as he rushed out of the room.

"Ahh~" he thought. "relief!"

When he got out of the room, his body started to cool down.
"Ugh! I need to talk to Dak, now!"

He flew over to the Dak and said, "Dak can we talk?"

"Can you guys handle fishing without me?" He asked.

"Dak, you make it even harder!" Said Cutter. They all burst into laughter.

"Okay Wing let's go."

When they got to The Roost, Dak asked, "What's up Wing?"

"Now I have a crush on Crystal and Summer!"
