Adora's POV

I got my keys out unlocking my red jeep and made my way to the driving seat and sat down. I plugged my seat belt in and started the engine.

I was on my way to school, just a normal day in senior high. I turned the radio on and to my luck it was Girl in Red.

I turned up the volume and started singing and beating my head the song.

"It was a bead idea calling you up"

"was such a bad idea 'cause now I'm even more lost"

I sang and started tapping my fingers to the rhythm.

Oh? if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm gay. Sure I've had a boyfriend before but it's really nothing for me. All they do is take advantage of you when you're in your worst and use you as a trophy for other boys to see and look at.

Girls on the other hand are so different compared to guys. I guess I've always liked girls but never really wanted to admit it.

I kept on jamming to the song

"It was a bad idea to think you were the one"

"Was such a bad head 'cause now everything's wrong"

"You put your hands under my shirt"

"Undid my bra and said these words"

"darling you're so pretty it hurts"

After jamming for a while I pulled up to the schools parking lot. The parking lot was pretty much filled with cars but to my fortunate there was an empty spot near a black; grey-ish motorcycle. I parked the car and grabbed my stuff and locked it. On my way to the entrance I saw Glimmer and Bow approaching me.

"Hey guys" I said and gave them a small smile. "Hey, How're you holding up?" Bow asked. "What'd you mean?" I asked giving him a confused look. "Y'know about the whole Lonnie situation?". I groaned and answered "You know that I don't like you asking me about that. I and Lonnie are over okay? She broke up with me so why should I waste my time crying over something like that?" "I'm sorry, just wanted to see how you were doing. You were really vulnerable and miserably the first two weeks" Bow said.

"It's whatever" I scoffed. "Adora don't think about it, It's her loss. If only she'd realize how good you actually are" Glimmer said and gave me a smile. "Thanks, I'm lucky to have you guys" "And were lucky to have you" Bow said and I could see small sparkles pop up in his eyes.

We all entered the building and made our way to math class. Math class was probably the worst class since I shared it with Lonnie. From time to time she would glance at me and always tried to make conversation when our teacher isn't teaching or isn't in class. It really annoyed me, but I tried my best to just ignore her and brush her off.

As i entered the classroom and went down to get my seat Lonnie approached me. "Adora, can we please talk?" She pleaded. I was pretty sick of this and she probably wouldn't stop anytime sooner. For once I decided to just give it and hear whatever bull crap she's trying to pull. "Fine, what is it?" I said and looked up facing her.

"Can we talk about us? I swear breaking up with you was a mistake. I never meant anything I said. Can we please try again? I promise I won't mess it up this time" She pleaded. Everything she said was total bullshit.

Why even bother breaking up if you're just gonna come back and ask for forgiveness. "No. You chose to break up me, where do you think my dignity would I be took you back?. Get over yourself Lonnie, we're over" I said in a harsh tone. "Believe me Adora, just give me one more chance and I'll prove to you that I'm worthy" She said and moved closer. "Should've thought twice before sleeping with a girl and then coming to me the day after saying how much you lo-" I was suddenly interrupted by a laugh.
