Catra's POV
I woke up hearing a fairly loud thud coming outside the room causing me to bolt out of bed. I look to my sides, to my disappointment Adora was no where to be seen.
Where's she?
I groggily rubbed my eyes as I was about to open the door but to my surprised I had bumped into Adora.
It took me a good minute to noticed that she was in a towel with her wet hair slopingly resting on her shoulder.
Fuck, she looks hot.
Did she just come out of the shower?
The thought made me blush, I could see Adora blushing just as bad as me.
Adora tightly held onto her towel as if her life depended on it.
I moved aside as she walked pass me and to her drawers about to get dressed.
"Oh yeah right, I'm sorry if I startled you, I just heard a loud thud" I said and scratched my neck.
"I accidentally dropped the shampoo, did it wake you up?" Adora asked, looking a bit concerned. "Yeah but I had to get up either way" I yawned.
A brief moment of silence overtook us.
I eventually left the bedroom for Adora to get dressed, I figured it would be a bit awkward although I'd love to see her all flustered and embarrassed, it was something I really enjoyed seeing. It also gave me opportunities to tease her.
I walked to the kitchen to get myself a glass of milk when and sit down in the living room until Adora finished.
Not long after, Adora came out with her usual outfit, she still looked like a goddess despite whatever she was wearing.
Adora was still a little flustered from the incident earlier this morning.
"Want some breakfast? We've got cereal unless you'd like some eggs. Unfortunately I forgot to buy bacon yesterday.." she sighed and walked into the kitchen.
"Adora, it's fine. Cereal is more than fine" I smiled, Adora returned the smile
A few minutes later Adora came and sat down on the couch next to me with two bowls of cereal, specifically cinnamon crunch, and they were magnificent.
"Here you go, eat up" she said and handed me a bowl and planted a soft kiss on my cheek. I blushed at her unexpected move. Don't get me wrong, I loved it.
Of course I'd never fully admit it to her. She would just end up teasing me about it.
But I still wasn't used to the affection I was given.
"It's Sunday today, do you have anything planned?" Adora asked as she ate some of her cereal and I shook my head in response.
"Great.. so.. since you're free do you maybe wanna do something today?" She asked and smiled.
I grinned amusedly and looked at her "so basically a date?" I cockily grinned.
Adora nudged my arms and let out a small chuckle.
"Yes, a date" she confirmed and I nodded.
"Date is it then, do you have anything in mind?" I asked and I could see a smirk growing on Adora lips.
"You'll see" she said. "Oh come on, don't be like that. Tell me" I found myself whining. I'm very impatient when it came to 'surprises'.
I hated it.
