"Ready?"
Catra's POV
I nodded and followed behind her. We went over to the table where Glimmer and Bow were sitting.
"Hi!" Bow squealed. "Hey guys! Long time no see" Adora said "We saw each other literally yesterday at that party Adora or did you have too much to drink that you forgot?" Glimmer giggled.
"Why, can't I miss my best friend?" She said and we both sat down facing Bow and Glimmer.
Glimmer playfully rolled her eyes till they landed on me.
"Lovely to see you here horde scum" "Could say the same to you frog face" I said and laughed while Glimmer joined me. "So what are you guys getting?" Adora asked whilst looking at the menu filled with different dishes.
"I'm gonna get the pasta Alfredo" Bow said. "Same here, what about you guys?" Glimmer asked. "I'll have whatever Adora has" I said. "Aww! Aren't you guys such a cute couple eh?" Glimmer teased. "Oh don't start it sparkles before I smash that head of yours" I said sarcastically.
As the waiter came we all ordered food and then waited. We were enjoying each others company and were having fun talking about random stuff. Not long after the waiter came with our orders and placed them on our table. It smelled delicious. I couldn't help myself but lick my bottom lips and started digging in.
"So what'd y'all say about a sleepover at my place?" Glimmer said while slurping down her pasta.
"It's school tomorrow. We can't" Adora said bluntly. I quickly shot my head facing her. You dumbass. You really had to tell them?. "What'd you mean with 'we'? It sounds like you're almost living together" Glimmer laughed awkwardly.
I swear I could see sweat running down her face. "Wait are you serious?" Glimmer said shifting her look back at me and Adora. "Since when, and why didn't you tell us?" she said and glanced back at me.
"Uhh, it's a long story okay? I'll save it for an another day" Adora said and Glimmer nodded.
"So what, are you guys dating" Glimmer said and smirked. "Well, uhh we.." I could see Adora getting a bit uncomfortable so I butted in. "Yes we are, now stop being so nosy and eat your damn food" I said and Adora turned to face me with a red face.
"We are?" "Erm.. just eat your food and we'll talk later." After that everyone stayed quiet just eating their food.
"Enough talk about us, what about you guys?" Adora asked as she swallowed her food. "Bow is drooling over this guy named Kyle and well, I myself is not looking for a relationship" Glimmer stated.
Adora nodded as in the 'Ok' nod. We sat and finished our dishes and paid for our food. We got up and said goodbye to Glimmer and Bow as we parted ways.
"It was nice today" Adora said. "Yeah, It really was" I said giving her a genuine smile. "You look more happily than usual. What's up" She said and looked into my eyes. She seriously gotta stop looking at me like that. Soon she'll catch me drooling. "Yeah, i'm just really enjoying the time with you" i said honestly.
"Are you sureeeeee you don't like me more than just a frienddddd, mhmm?" She said in a teasing manner.
"Shut up before i twist that pretty head of yours" i said making her giggle. "You wouldn't do that" "Yeah you're right, you're too cute" I said in a teasing tone causing her to blush a bit.
