Hawks pov -

"Hey Haru, has the new intern come in yet? The UA kid?"
"No not yet, we just got word that he's on his way," Haru replied, then closed the door to my office.
These days most of my interns are quitting. Most say it's due to my personality, can you believe that? I'm in need of more interns though, so I watched the UA sports festival in hopes of finding new ones. I still need more than one, but for now one was manageable. This is just a small period of this kids internship, so I'll have to find more soon. I heard a knock on my office door, breaking my thought. "Come in." The door opened slightly, "The intern is here sir," Haru said, opening the door more and moving to the side, revealing Fumikage Tokoyami, the new intern. "Ah! Come on in, have a seat," I offered. He bowed, "Thank you for allowing me to intern here,"
"Nah, don't mention it. I needed more interns and you were a perfect candidate," I said, "That quirk of yours is something else, you'll be a great hero one day." He smiled slightly and I started explaining what he should be doing.

     We went on patrol and half way through, I decided to split up to see if he could handle patrolling on his own. I flew into the air and started patrolling from above. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a silhouette sitting on top of a suspension bridge. I was curious and flew over to them. It was a girl, she looked around my age. How did she get up here? I don't see any wings on her? Maybe it's her quirk. I dropped down on the beam in front of her. "Hey Kid, what are you doing up here, it's dangerous, how di- HEY KID!" She got startled halfway through my sentence and fell off the edge. I panicked and dove down, catching her and wrapping my arms around her. "What'd you do that for?" I asked looking down at her. She stuttered, still shocked. I felt her trying to pry my arms off. Does she have a death wish? "What are you doing? Do you want to fall?" I asked, slightly concerned. "Let me go. I can fly on my own," she replied. It caught me by surprise because she sounded serious. I got curious so I did as she told me to. She started falling, and I guess I took her by surprise, I didn't give her any warning after all. I made sure to hover nearby, incase she was bluffing. She was still falling, but we were pretty high up so she had time. "You sure you can fly by yourself?" I shouted with a smirk on my face. She looked back at me, slightly glaring. Suddenly out of no where, big white wings appeared and she started flying.

She landed on top of a building, trying to process what had happened. I followed and landed shortly after her. Her wings were beautiful, she looked like an angel with those wings. I didn't realize that a slight tint of pink went over my face until I started getting warm. She looked at me, "You could've said something before landing you know."
"Uh- I- I'm sorry, I just..." I trailed off, still admiring her wings. I haven't seen anyone with wings like me lately. Especially not gorgeous ones. She then looked as if she had forgotten something, and then remembered, "Aw man, I dropped my sandwich up there," she pouted. I chuckled at the sudden change of personality. She whipped around and grabbed me by my jacket which caught me by surprise, "You made me drop my sandwich," she said, glaring at me. "Woah, Woah. Calm down Angel, I'll buy you a new one," I said, putting my hands up and smiling.I felt bad for startling her and ruining her meal. She paused and glared at me, then sighed. "It doesn't matter anymore, I'll be going now," she said. "Hey wait!" I tried stopping her, but she had already flown away. She seemed like a good candidate for an intern. I sighed sadly and took off to find Tokoyami and call it a night.

~~~~~
It had been 2 days since that run-in with that angel looking girl. I tried flying around the area where I met her in hopes of finding her and asking her to intern for me, but I had no luck. I decided to go on patrol alone since Tokoyami was at school today. I started patrolling in the air, but my wings got tired so I started walking around. I kept getting stopped by crowds of fans, but I was use to it. I was walking by the mall and got hungry so I decided to find something in the food court. As I was walking I got stopped by a small group of fan girls. They all crowded me, asking for pictures and autographs. I started looking around still hungry, when I saw a pair of big white wings in front of me. It was her, the girl I met on the bridge the other night. She looked over and we made eye contact for a second, I smiled and waved, but she just ignored me and looked ahead again.
Well that was rude...
She was in line to buy sushi, when I remembered I ruined her meal last time and got an idea. I said goodbye to the group of girls and went around the corner so I wouldn't be spotted by her. I took one of my feathers and directed it to go over to her and tap her. A few second passed and I felt her grab the feather and put it in her pocket. I chuckled and made the feather come back. I attached money to then made the feather go back to give it to her. I peeked my head around the corner watching her reaction. I watched as she sighed and took it, then paid for her sushi and walked out of the mall. I started following her, in hopes of talking to her. She ended up going to the same bridge we met on the other day. I waited a bit letting her eat before sending a feather over to get her attention once again. My feather drifted towards her sushi, but before it could even touch the container, she snatched it from the air.
I landed on the beam opposite of her, "Well that was aggressive," I said sitting down. "Yeah, well I don't let people touch my food. Besides, I don't know where your feather has been," she replied. I smiled, "Fair enough." I stared at her, she had her wings out still. She started eating again. I chuckled lightly. "What?" she asked, still eating. "Nothing, you sure love your food though," I said. She hummed and continued eating. I was unaware I was still staring at her. I didn't mean to, it's just that her wings were so pretty. She looked up at me, "Thanks for paying." I smiled and reminded her I owed her for last time. I remembered why I was at the mall in the first place. Getting hungrier, I stared at her sushi. She must have noticed because she offered me some. "What? No it's yours," I said. She insisted, and I finally gave in, taking the sushi from her. I started eating right away. She just laughed lightly. I started asking her questions about her quirk and her name. "My hero name or my real name?" she asked. "Both," I replied, still eating. "My hero name is White Wing," she said.
That's badass. There was a long silence. Why didn't she say her real name? "What about your real name...?" I asked. She asked why it was important if we weren't gonna continue meeting. I was slightly hurt by the fact that she didn't want to meet anymore. I thought I was a fun person to be around. I pouted, "You don't like me or what?" She just laughed, "No it's not that. You're a pro hero, which means you're almost always busy. Which means you won't have time to meet and talk." She had a point. "That's true, but it's not like I'm always busy," I said. I desperately wanted to get to know her more. She seemed different than other female heroes I've worked with. "Well I'll usually be on a skyscraper or bridge at night if you ever have free time," she stated. "Which ones?"
"Probably this bridge, I like the view from up here." She was still observing the city below her. Her hair was blowing with the slight breeze in the air. She looked so angelic. "What about your real name?" I asked. "You ask a lot of questions," she sighed softly. Why wasn't she telling me her real name? "Fine, don't tell me. I'll just call you Angel for now," I stated. She glared at me while I just gave a sly smirk. "Well, until next time Angel," I said standing up, "I gotta go." She hummed as I took off. What a strange woman.
