The first thing about skipping school is to be in the right mind set. If you can convince your mum that you're sick, you can do anything. I chose to fake stomach cramps. The trick is clammy hands, so when you bend over, spit on your palms to make it really seem like you're ill.
The second thing is not spending your day off alone.
So that's how I tried to get Luke out of school that day. Pretending his grandma had died isn't the best solution, my mind spoke, you're gonna get caught.
"It's a family crisis! Luke needs to come home immediately," I spoke into the phone to the headteacher, in my fake posh accent, "his grandmother has died, if you can't appreciate that then the kids at that school are doomed for-"
"Okay, sir, calm down, I'll wait with Luke outside of the building for you to pick him up," he replied and my eyes went wide. Shit.
"Uh- okay," I hung up quickly and ran upstairs to find something to disguise myself. I decided on an old suit and tie of my fathers that he had left behind and put it on, along with sunglasses and a flat peaked cap. I looked like an idiot but who cares.
Next step... steal a Ferrari.

When I found out that my grandmother had supposedly died I knew something was up. My only grandma that I actually knew lived way across the country and was a moody old cow who even my mother despised talking to. I was being dragged outside because apparently my 'father' wanted me home immediately which, at first, startled me because fuck knows where my father is but then I had realised that it couldn't have actually been him. So, naturally, I played along and pretended to be upset as the headmaster stood outside with me.
"I'm sorry about your grandma," he said, "I had a grandmother once. She was-" his voice was cut off by a loud roaring sound, startling me as I looked up to see a red Ferrari pulled up in the parking lot, a person getting out.
"I- uh..." I squinted, almost doing a double take when I realised it was Michael, "I guess that's my father, bye sir." I hurried down the steps to the school and quite literally ran into Michael.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I hissed, shoving his shoulder a little.
"Well I had to get you out of school somehow," Michael smirked, "now... does daddy get a kiss?"
(a/n I'm laughing bc I set up the whole chapter just so michael could say that ;)))
"I- I uh-" I stuttered as Michael pulled me into the car with him, "how did you get hold of a fucking Ferrari?"
"My dad was a car fanatic," Michael grinned, "shame he left the garage open."
"Woah," I giggled, almost screaming as he put his foot down and sent the car flying forward, a rush of adrenaline tingling through my body, "wow wow wow!" I squealed, throwing my hands up and feeling the air through the open topped roof.
"You like?" Michael shouted over the roar of the engine and the sound of the wind in our ears.
"I love it!" I shouted back, leaning over and adding, "I love it, daddy."
Michael's eyes went wide and he gulped, shifting in his seat a little as I laughed wildly. I ended up giggling as Michael gripped the steering wheel but in the end he smirked at me and put his foot to the floor and made the car go even faster.
"You're crazy!" I laughed, feeling the wind through my hair.
"Crazy is better than normal babe!" he shouted back, both of us ecstatic at the idea of what had just happened. He turned up the green day song that was playing and we both sung along at the top of our lungs as Michael drove us to wherever he planned on taking me.

"You cheated!" I squealed, hitting Michael's arm as we played some war video game in the arcade.
"No I didn't! I'm just really good at this game," Michael chuckled, poking my shoulder. I pouted at him and he smirked, leaving a kiss on my forehead.
"Fine then, let's have a rematch," I suggested but Michael shook his head.
"You know what? I have a better idea," he smirked before leaning towards me and connecting our lips, pressuring me against the video game stand as he deepened the kiss. I whimpered a little and he gently bit down on my bottom lip to shut me up, his hips pressed against mine, sandwiching me between the game and his body.
"Ahem," someone cleared their throat by us and my eyes went wide, pushing Michael away from me and standing up straight in a matter of seconds, "we don't allow that kind of behaviour in here, it's a family place, you know." The man with a black t shirt and the logo of the arcade on it, spoke to us.
"I- uh-" I mumbled.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave," he said angrily, "God would not approve of two boys going at it in a family place." He added under his breath as we were about to leave.
"Alright," Michael snapped, "we were leaving, no need to be fucking rude about it! It's the 21st century, gay couples are actually a common thing now, so stop being so fucking small minded and do your fucking job like you're supposed to." Michael grabbed my hand, ignoring the man's argument against gays and against what Michael had just said, and we walked off the premises.
"Hey, Michael it's okay," I whispered to my pissed off looking boyfriend.
"No it's not fucking okay," Michael scoffed, "I'm sorry, alright? I just- I got really pissed off because of that fucking-"
"Shh," I begged, running my fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry okay..." he sighed frustratedly, pulling me to the car, "lets go home. I don't want to be anywhere that we can't be ourselves." Michael exhaled loudly and turned the engine on.
