Luke

"Why does he do this to himself? Why does he do this to me?" I sobbed as I forced Macy to show me to Michael.

"He- He's just trying to protect you, Luke," Macy sighed as we ran out of school and to the road nearby.

"Shit," I almost screamed as I saw Michael lying on the floor, curled up into a ball, clutching his head, "what the fuck happened? Michael are you okay? Baby talk to me, please say you can hear me."

"Luke?" he mumbled, lifting his head a little, revealing a split lip, blackening eye and blood dripping from his nose, "this is all fucked up. Y-you weren't supposed to see this, C-Calum was supposed to get hurt, not me, I didn't mean to hurt you, Luke."

"Everything's fucked up, Mikey," I tried to calm him down, but I felt like I was going to be sick myself, "do you want to talk about it?"

"Get the two gay boys off the path, don't you have any respect?" Calum shouted to the growing crowd of people, kicking my back.

"Fuck off Calum," I choked, my voice sounding surprisingly confident, "fuck you and your stupid homophobic attitude."

"Well you're just being plain disrespectful to like, religion," he spat. What a small minded idiot, I thought to myself, turning my attention back to Michael.

"I'm- I'm going to punch that little prick's face again if I have to," Michael stuttered quietly, clearly not even having the strength to speak, "if he says one more word to you, I swear to God-"

"Calum!?" a voice shouted sternly from behind us, me barely noticing because I was helping Michael sit up.

"A-Ashton? W-what the fuck are you doing here?" Calum hissed, my head snapping up to see the curly haired boy who'd previously been sunshine and rainbows now looking pissed off.

"What the fuck did you do to Michael?" Ashton screeched, hurrying over to the injured boy.

"I'm fine, Ash," Michael mumbled, still clutching my arm.

"Calum you told me you made up with them! You fucking promised!" Ashton shouted, the last word going soft as he choked it out, clearly hurt by this although neither Michael nor I had any idea what was going on.

"Ashton go home, we can talk about this later," Calum said, panicked.

"Will someone explain what's going on?" Michael begged, the few people who had previously been onlooking had since left probably due to the scary older boy coming to shout at everyone.

"Do you wanna tell them, Calum? Huh?" Ashton snapped, his voice laced with hurt and sadness and he looked almost close to tears.

"There's nothing to tell," Calum growled through gritted teeth.

"You're unbelievable," Ashton scoffed.

"Just leave," Calum spat.

"You weren't saying that when I was fucking you last week," Ashton said and my jaw hit the ground.

what?

"Ashton!" Calum gasped, panic covering his face.

"That's not what you were calling me last week either," Ashton winked before turning on his heel and sauntering away.

"Shit," Calum braced himself for whatever shit he was about to get from Michael.

"You think it's fucking okay to be so fucking hypocritical? What a fucking prick," Michael spat, grabbing my hand and pulling himself up, "you weren't even worth my blood."
