Chapter 15

"So, what are you going to do Natsu?"
I turn my attention to Erza. Honestly, I'm surprised Erza isn't with anyone. With her beauty, you'd think guys would be at her feet, begging for her attention.
"I don't know. But Erza, I have a question."
"Okay, what is it?"
"How come you're not with anyone? With your beauty, I expected guys to be begging at your feet."
"It's not that guys haven't asked me out, its just I don't want to date them."
"Oh."
"So, when are you going to ask Lucy, Natsu?" Levy asks. Gajeel is sitting behind her, his left hand resting on her left hip. Even with him sitting down, her head barely surpasses his.
"I don't know. I'm pretty sure she's sleeping right now. I don't want to wake her."
"How about when she wakes up?" Lissana chimes in.
"I don't know. I want to be able to do something romantic when I ask her out." I say, scratching the back of my head.
Everyone is quiet, thinking of an idea.
"I know!" A voice rings throughout the guild hall. We all turn our heads to the front doors. Standing there is...
Master Mavis?!
"Master Mavis? What are you doing here?" Gramps asks.
"Helping, of course!"
"Helping with what?" I ask.
"You dummy! You! I'm helping you get a date!"
"What?!?!"
"I have an idea! Now listen close..."
We all listen to her plan. It's actually a pretty good idea.

Lucy will be able to go home tomorrow.
Levy, Juvia, Mavis, Cana, Lisanna, Erza, Mira, Wendy, Gray, Laxus, Gajeel, and I head over to Lucy's apartment to set up the plan.
The girls are making signs and hanging up streamers. The guys are cleaning the place and telling me what to do, how to do this and that, and what to and not to say.
"Okay I get it!" I yell.
"No I don't think you do!" Mira says.
"You have to be careful on what you say to a girl. Our emotions are very sensitive." Levy says.
"Their emotions aren't the only thing that are sensitive." Gajeel whispers to me and the other guys. We all start laughing. The girls glare at us. You can see their anger in their eyes.
"Gaaajeell!!!!!!" Levy says. It's hard to take Levy seriously when she's so short. Gajeel laughs. Erza appears behind Levy and glares at Gajeel. His face turns into a frightened face. Levy thinks she did it. She crosses her arms and turns in a huff.
"Laxus." Mira says. He turns to her and all the color drained from his face.
"M-Mira, it's not like that for you. I promise!" He stutters.

After what seemed like forever, we finally finished. There were signs hanging on the ways, streamers connecting to all the walls, a cake and other snacks set out on tables, and dinner set on the main table. Lucy should be here any minute now with Levy.
We plan on having a party for Lucy. Then, I'll make my move.
Just then, the door knob twisted. Lucy walked in. We all shouted,
"SURPRISE!!!!"

Lucy

"SURPRISE!!!!" I'm shocked to see the whole gang here. Natsu is standing in front with that perfect smile plastered on his perfect face.
I feel tears drip from my eyes.
"Lucy, why are you crying?" Natsu asks.
"I'm just so happy!" I jump into his arms and hug him. "Thank you Natsu."
Everyone cheers.
We spend the rest of the night partying, eating, talking. It was perfect.
At the end of the night, everyone left. Natsu stayed to help me clean up the place.
After what seemed like a billion years, we finally finished.
"There. All done." I sit down on my bed.
"Lucy?" I look up at Natsu.
"Yeah what's wrong?"
"I need to ask you something." He sits down next to me. I turn my body to face him.
"Okay. What is it?" Why do I feel nervous?
All of a sudden, Natsu pushes my body down on the mattress and he's on top in an instant.
"N-Natsu-..." he cuts me off with his lips landing on mine. I'm too surprised to react. He pulls away.
"Lucy, I love you so much. Please be mine?"
