"Alright Songbird, I'm taking the quirk stopper off. You use your quirk on me and the reinforcements are coming in, right?" He said, holding your ankle.
"Whatever, chicken man." He nodded and tugged the lock off after unlocking it with one of his many feathers.
"Right, so your quirk gives you unlimited oxygen, so you don't need to breathe, correct?" He watched you nod, so he continued. "I expect that as a villain you were trained basic moves and how to use your quirk correct?"
"'Course."
"Right. So I've gotten a pro-hero friend of mine to allow you to combat some of his students, 'kay? They're supposedly one of the strongest new batches of heroes, but I bet you could do it."
"Don't expect too much, bird brain. My quirk is not a combat quirk."
He nodded. "Jump off the roof, I'll catch you."
"You want me to trust you like that? No can do, bird man."
"I'll always catch you, even when you least expect it."
You finally let in, jumping off of the roof of his house, fortunately being caught by him.
"Good girl. We're heading to UA. Don't let go so early this time." He flew up as usual, you hanging basically by a thread. Once he spotted the large school, he lowered the two of you to the floor gently. "Howdy there, class 1A. Howdy, Aizawa!"
"Hawks you idiot, when did you start saying 'howdy?'"
He laughed. "This is Y/N, someone that I'm reforming, isn't that right, Songbird? You'll find out her cute little quirk soon enough, kids. You'll be fighting her in groups of three, so start to plan your strategy."
"I've already told them that and their teams," Aizawa scowled. You turned your head to the man in the yellow.. thing.. and instantly recognized him.
"Eraser!" You said excitedly, breaking free from Hawks' arms. "You're Eraserhead, are you not?"
He sighed, "That would be me.. unfortunately."
"You fawn over a lazy bastard like him and not me? I'm offended, Songbird."
"I'm not fawning. He's one of the heroes I saw as a villain, when we were attacking UA all those months ago. He fought a nomu, and did really good at it."
"She's the one that was caught with the other girl- isn't she?" a green-haired boy called out of the right side of the classroom.
Looking over at the boy, you noticed how his features were perfect with his personality. He looked very sweet but powerful at the same time. You couldn't help but awe over the boy. "That would be me!"
"Your quirk is really cool, Ms. Y/N! I'm Midoriya Izuku."
"This is the one we saw?" Another boy said, pushing up his glasses. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Y/N. I am impressed with your quirk and its strength. I'm Iida Tenya."
You were shocked at how the two boys reacted to your quirk, happy. This was like a change of personality for you, all you wanted to do was converse with these two. "If I'm not mistaken, I saw another kid there as well, did I not?"
A boy with half-white and half-red hair stood up and bowed. "Todoroki Shoto, it's nice to meet you, Ms. Y/N."
"Hawks, Hawks, can I please fight these three first? They're so cute, Hawks, please!"
"How cute, little Songbird's changed her personality for a group of three little kids. Unfortunately, those three are in two different groups. But you'll be fighting Shoto, Midoriya, and someone else together. 'Zawa said he was promising."
"Tch, I am much more 'promising' than Deku. Bakugou Katsuki."
You snapped your head towards Aizawa, making a face that seemed to resemble a "please?" and he sighed and nodded. Right after he nodded at you, you were able to run over to the explosive kid. Smushing his face, you awed at the boy, sending the rest of the class snickering.
"Hawks, you didn't tell me there'd be such adorable little kids here."
"Am not a little kid!"
"This one is a little screamy, though. Does Katsuki need a hug?" He began to thrash and squirm around until you finally embraced him in your arms. He calmed down and sighed, warming up to the hug. "There, all better." The snickers from the students had stopped, now they were staring in shock at the strangely calm Bakugou Katsuki. "What? You just need to feed angry children hugs daily. Isn't that right, Katsuki?" He nodded calmly and sat down, placing his head on his palm.
"Anyways, who am I fighting first?"
"You're fighting me, Kacchan, and Shoto first," Midoriya said from behind Bakugou.
You nodded and followed the class and Hawks to the outside. Outside, there was a large grass clearing, where you would fight the groups.
"The four of you, the goal is just like the Sports Festival. Try to get your opponent(s) outside of this white line. Good luck, Songbird. Don't push yourself too hard, this is your first time training against heroes." Hawks wished you good luck and followed Aizawa sensei and the rest of 1a to a viewing area, where they couldn't be affected by any of your quirks.
"Good luck, Bakugou, Midoriya, and Shoto!" You said, patting Bakugou's hair. They nodded in response and got in position for combat.
Midoriya made the first move. You could have sworn you saw green lighting come out of his body as he speeded towards you, aiming to punch your stomach. At the last second, you were able to dodge by jumping to the left.
Bakugou watched and scolded Izuku, saying how he didn't go fast enough. Bakugou followed with a jump into your direction, using his quirk on the floor in front of you, causing you to jump backwards, almost out of the area. Jumping to the left and landing on your feet, Shoto aimed his right hand toward you, letting out a large icicle with a small point aimed at your neck, letting some blood ooze out of your neck. Before he could extend the icicle any farther, you smashed it with your gloved hand, causing it to break into millions of glass-like pieces.
It wasn't like you would be able to use your quirk to it's fullest potential; your quirk required thinking and planning ahead. However, you could use it to paralyze the opponent into following you slowly.
"Kacchan, Shoto, she's going to use her quirk! Cover you-"
Before Midoriya could finish, you had already used your quirk. The three were now following you like brainless zombies, tripping over their own legs. If you were to stop singing, then they would have enough time to cover their ears. Leaping over the pool of ice, you jumped around near the left corner of the end of the arena, ready to push them out. Before they could push you (by walking forwards,) you jumped above the three, turning around swiftly and pushing them out of the designated area. Finally stopping your voice, you bend over and lent out a hand to Midoriya, who was crushed by Bakugou in his fall.
"Ms. Y/N, do you mind if I do any inspections of your quirk?" He pulled a notebook out of nowhere, trailing around you as if you were still using your quirk.
"'Course! One sec', though." You reached out both of your hands, pulling up Shoto and Bakugou, praising the two for their performance.
"That can wait til' later, can't it?" Aizawa said, as he walked up to the four of you.
"Yes sir," Midoriysa said as he walked over to the viewing area, where Iida and Uraraka were waiting for him. Bakugou and Shoto followed, bowing at you as they walked past.
"What strong kids," you said, placing your hands on your hips. "This is nice, relaxing almost."
