Making Friends...

Chapter twenty nine, She's Off To School

"Do you have everything Darling?" I ask, crouched down in front of my four year old daughter

"Yep, do I have to go to school daddy?"

"Yes honey, but you're going to make so many friends and your teachers are going to love you, you're going to have so much fun"

"I don't want to go"

"You have to, Poppa is going to be at work all day and I've got to go see your grandma today"

"Grandma?!"

"Yes, but you have to go to school, you'll see her tonight I promise"

"But daddy!"

"No Bella, school, now get out that door while I get your brother"

"Fine" She grumbled and stomped out the door, I grabbed the two year old under the arms and rested him on my hip

"Okay, climb into your seat and I'll help you in a minute Bell" I said as I placed Jaxton into his seat and strapped him up

I finished with Jaxton and then helped Bella with her seatbelt before climbing into the driver's seat, Bella had her arms crossed over her chest as she glared out the window, I sighed.

"You're going to love school I promise, and if you don't, you still have to go, you're going to make tons of friends, and look, Mila will be there, she's starting school today too, you know who Mila is right?"

"Yeah, She's Janice's kid"

"Yes she is, you remember having play dates with her don't you"

"Yeah"

"There you go, be good for your teachers please darling, I'm going to be very busy today and I can't come pick you up"

"Okay daddy"

"Thank you sweetheart"

       I pulled up to the school and climbed out of the car before helping Bella out, I saw Sebastian dropping Nova off too, he leaned down and gave her a kiss and a hug before she ran off with her school bag, going off to grade one.

"Okay, have fun okay, I'll be here to pick you up after school" I said as I gave my little girl a hug and kiss,

"Okay daddy, I love you"

"I love you too honey, now go run over and give your uncle a hug, go surprise him, he just dropped off your cousin" I said pointing over to Sebastian

"Okay Bye daddy"

"Bye Bella! Be good!"

       I watched as Bella latched onto Sebastian's legs, he looked confused then realized it was his niece and gave her a hug, I watched my baby girl run off into a crowd of kids her age and sighed, my baby girls all grown up, she's getting to be independent, she doesn't need me as much any more.

"I know what you're thinking and you better stop it" Sebastian said as he walked up to me

"I just don't know what to do, the house is going to be so quiet with Jaxton all day"

"I know, it was the same when Nova went to school and it was just me and Anna"

"Where is Anna anyways?"

"With mom"

"That's where I'm headed right now with Jax"

"Have fun, I'll be at the studio with Rem"

"Will do"

       I climbed back into my car and turned to Jax.

"You ready to go see grandma Buddy?"
