Monday:
ring ring ring
"What do you want?" I muttered through the phone.
"Chizu-chan and Akane-chan have a new friend," I heard Haruo cheekily say. So what?
"So? What does it have to do with me?" I groaned, getting my school uniform ready.
"Akahiro... she looks like Yua," I heard him say. I froze at the mention of her name.
Yua Akabane.
"What are you talking about Haruo? Yua is dead. She's been dead for five years," I snapped before hanging up. What a way to start my day. I glanced at the time; 6:55am. I called for my butler and ordered him to make everything ready.
...By the time, I finished getting ready for another week of school, it was 7:30. I grunted and ran out and started walking towards the academy. What was that idiot even saying... Yua is dead.
I closed my eyes, not bothering what was around me. I opened my eyes to sound of Akane's voice.
"Seiko-chan! You look so good in our uniform, come on, we'll show you around the school," I heard Akane giggle and I gazed at the "Seiko" girl. I couldn't see her face, but she had long black hair. I walked to my classroom and sat down at my usual desk. I gazed outside towards the cherry blossom tree where my last memory of Yua was.
Flashback:
"Akahiro-kun, please teach me volleyball," a 6-year old Yua pleaded, blushing profusely. The said boy stared at her for a moment before breaking into a wide smile.
"Hai! Come, I'll teach you!" Akahiro laughed before holding the girl's hands.
"So this is how you receive first. Squat lower. Put out your arms. When I toss you this ball, you have to bump it okay? The power comes from your legs okay? Here I go," He instructed, tossing the ball to her. She received it.
"EHHH? ... I RECEIVED IT! I received it Akahiro-kun! I did it!" Yua exclaimed happily, hugging the boy. She jumped up and down. Ever since that day, they practice volleyball everyday for hours. And suddenly, Yua and her family was no where to be seen. Until News came out years later, she got into a crash with her family and they all reportedly died... it was a tragic moment for all of us. We all mourned. The Akabane's were known as kindhearted people and Yua was taken from the world too soon.
End Of Flashback.
I sighed in annoyance as I heard the bell signalling students to come into their respective classrooms. The only thing that I hated most was the fangirls that constantly tried to get my attention. They were trying too hard. The only girls that I got along with was Akane and Chizu. I watched as Sakai-sensei quieted down the class.
"Welcome to a new week! In this very second week of October, we have a new student," Saikai sensei started, "please come in." I didn't care and averted my eyes back to the window. I heard the door open and students gasp and whispered around the class.
"Ohayo! I'm Takahashi Seiko, Please take care of me," the girl introduced herself. I finally decided to see what the other students were murmuring about, and as soon as my eyes saw her, my heart dropped.
"Haruo was right, she looks like her," I thought, gazing at her blue ocean eyes and dark black hair, her fair pale complexion making her look more attractive.
"Do you like to play any sports?" a student questioned, making me listen in more about her answer. Seiko giggled and she nodded,
"I have been playing Volleyball for a while."
I narrowed my eyes, it was just a coincidence... is it not?
