"Sano-sensei!" a cheery voice called out, "Ehhh? Yua-chan!?" The blond boy quickly hugged the girl.
"Sorry, but she's Seiko Takahashi. Not Yua, I was surprised too," Sano-sensei explained, ruffling the boys hair.
"Haruo Onishi, but you can call me Haruo," the boy grinned at the girl. Seiko didn't know what to do at first, but chuckled.
"Seiko Takahashi. You may call me Seiko," she chuckled, "Want to practice with me?" Haruo seemed to glow and agreed quickly.
"Okay, Haruo-san. Here I go," she quickly gave him a power serve and Haruo failed to get it.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? That was so fast and so powerful," He shouted shaking the living lights out of Seiko. Haruo stopped when he heard a grunt coming from the door, they both turned to see Katashi Hara.
"Why is a girl here?" Katashi spoke up, finally looking at her only to notice she looked like Yua.
"Hehe, I'm here for the volleyball team. And I'm ahead in my classes so I guess I just have a free year or so," Seiko chuckled, smiling, "I'm Seiko Takahashi." Katashi watched as she bowed down before him. He glanced at the coach, expecting an explanation.
"She showed me some moves and I was very impressed. There wasn't a girls volleyball team here so I offered to try and talk to the directors about getting her in the boys team. That doesn't mean she'll be treated differently, she'll be one of us," Sano-sensei explained to Katashi and Haruo.
"I have to prove myself worthy to be in the team of course. and by that, I have to play with all of you," Seiko added in, shuffling from one foot to the other. The three guys nodded in understanding, before Sano checked the time.
"Lunch would go in a few minutes, I suggest Takahashi get out of your gym clothes and change back into your school uniform," Sano suggested for Seiko. She nodded in response and left.
"Ne? Sano-sensei, doesn't Seiko-chan remind you of Yua-chan so much? It's weird because Seiko-chan just looks like the older version of Yua. And they're the same age even, it would a coincidence if they had the same birthday, speaking of which. Yua's birthday is coming up," Haruo said, looking at the changing room door.
"Seiko does remind me of her a lot, she even spoke like she was her when I told her about Yua," Sano-sensei agreed putting his hand on his chin.
"Yua is dead, there's no way that fangirl is her," a voice interrupted, belonging to Akahiro. The other looked at him in confusion.
"Fangirl? She doesn't seem like a fangirl to me," Katashi commented, walking over to Akahiro. The changing room door opened to reveal Seiko back in her clothes.
"Excuse me, I'll be going now. Ja-ne," Seiko blurted, running out soon after. The boys heard her call out to Chizu and Akane.
"Do you think Akane and Chizu only be friended her because she looked like Yua?" Haruo mumbled, hurt, "I mean, they wouldn't just replace Yua just like that because a girl that looks like her appeared. Don't you think, it's going to hurt Yua knowing she was replaced."
"From what it looks like," Akahiro started with an annoyed face, "They already replaced Yua with Seiko. No matter what, we shouldn't be friend that girl, she might just have heard about Yua and take her place." With that, the three boys started changing into their gym clothes to practice, while waiting for other teammates.
