Liam's POV

"Yeah, i'm Tatum, nice to meet you!" Tatum held his hand out, but Louis didn't even move. He just stood there, gawking at me.

"Well, I think i need to reevaluate my life," Louis said coldly before retreating back to his room. Tatum turned and looked at me.

"Let it go," i told him. he nodded.

"I'm going to go talk to Rebekah!" he said as he walked out of my room. I walked over to Louis door. i knocked on it a couple times before he answered.

"Yes?" he asked.

"Can we talk?" i asked. He smiled and nodded. I walked into his room. "Things are going to be different from now on, and i'm sorry but I've found someone else. it's a bit too soon, i know, but you don't know Tatum the way i do, he's willing to wait for me. So please, don't fight for me, i think it's better for both of us if we just stay friends."

"Liam, I can't," he began. "Everything you do drives me insane, I love you. Why? Because it's you who makes me feel whole. You can fix anything. I'd rather put you first than myself."

"This is hard for me too, but don't forget Lou, i don't remember that much about us, all i know is that we fought, a lot, and if we wanted to start a family, we couldn't. We'd fight too much and it isn't healthy. Believe me, I don't want to hurt you more than i already had. We've both learned something from this though."

"What did we learn? That i never get what i want? That when you love something or someone, you can't have it?" he questioned.

"That love is in many forms. Ours has probably been just brotherly. They say that if you love something, you should let it go. You can do so much better. Just imagine, when we're older, telling this story of us, just with a little twist. Loving you probably would've been amazing, but like i said, I don't remember, and i probably won't," i said.

"You're right, i need to move on. Maybe one day, i can tell you everything that we did. I enjoyed loving you, and i think it would be better if we were friends. I hope everything goes well with Tatum, he seems like a great guy," Louis said. "One thing, can i just have one last kiss? For closure?"

i walked over to him. i cupped his cheek, and a tear slipped from his eye. Our lips met, send waves down my body. I knew what i was doing was right. We wouldn't survive together. i pulled away, and wiped the tear from his cheek.

"Lou?" i asked, before leaving his room. he looked at me. "Thanks for loving me."

"Anytime!" he smiled warmly. I walked out and closed the door. A small headache formed, and got stronger every second. I couldn't take the pain. i closed my eyes as images filled my head.

-Flashback-

"Liam! Liam! What the hell?" Louis called. I stayed quiet. He passed my hiding spot. I held back a laugh. He passed me a few times and exited the room. I laughed and he walked back in.

"Found you!" he yelled. "Why were you hiding?"

"I have no idea," I shrugged. "Where are the lads?"

"Out, but we have the flat to ourselves," he began. "Call of duty?"

"Prepare to die!" I said as I went to find the 3DS that I was given. I found it and put in the game. Louis came back into my room with his red one.

"Looking for a player, Liam. Hurry your slow bum up!" Louis said as he sat at the foot of my bed. I set everything up and we were now playing multiplayers. The game began and we were looking for each other.

"I see you!" Louis warned. I moved out of my spot to another area. I had a good view of Louis.

"I see you!" I said. I shot at him, and he moved. I shot at him again, and he began to run. I shot at him until his character died. "Ah ha! I won! The master has won!"
