chapter 31

Nayeon's P.O.V.

My hair is brown?

I kept looking at myself in front of the mirror why my hair had to change yesterday. Jungkook got worried, I got scared and I don't know what to do.

It's already the next day yet my hair is still the same. Brown. B-R-O-W-N. And I have no idea why.

If this means I am really happy, It's a bad sign. I have to leave him soon, and if I become too happy here on earth I might decide to just not leave.

And it's bothering me at this moment...

I just hope I don't get too attached with him, or else I have no idea what might happen to me...

I snapped back to reality when I heard a knock on the door.

"Nayeon? Can I come in?" I heard Jungkook's voice at the other side of the door.

I smiled. "Ne. You can come in." I replied.

I feel very touched with his actions. He always knocks before he comes in just in case I am changing or what. He had that level of respect that makes me love him even more.

He opened the door and there revealed him with a tray with him.

"I made us breakfast. Let's eat here." He said and I nodded while he set up a mini table on the bed.

"What will we do after this?" I asked while he munched on his food.

He swallowed the food on his mouth before he answered. "I was thinking on spending the night star gazing with you. But this morning, we can go visit the mini zoo in here." He said making me smile widely.

I have heard from the gods and goddesses who always watch people on earth about the zoo. They said that it is a place where animals from different species all gather up.

"There is a mini zoo here?" Delight was clearly heard from my tone making him chuckle.

"You're cute as always." He pinched my cheeks while my cheeks started heating up.

"There is a mini zoo here. Have you been to one before?" He asked.

I slowly frowned. "I just heard from others about the zoo but never went to one." I answered.

He smiled. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you will have fun in here." He said.

I smiled again and hugged him which he gladly accepted immediately.

"Thank you for this Jungkook." I said in between hugs.

He caressed my hair with his hands before kissing the top of my head.

"I love you and I promise to make you happy no matter what." He said.

After finishing our food, I took a shower and changed to some clothes while he washed the dishes.

After everything was settled, we decided to go to the mini zoo.

While walking, our arms would brush which makes my cheeks heat up. Jungkook seemed like he is tired of our arms brushing that he just grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers which I gladly accepted.

Sooner, we arrived at the mini zoo.

My smile turned into a frown when I saw the mini zoo.

Animals were in a cage. They were being fed but my heart aches just by seeing them in that four-cornered cage.

Like, did they do anything wrong?

I look up at Jungkook with a pout. He looked at me and his face softened.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

I pointed at the animals. "Why are they in the cage?" I asked.

He raised a brow. "Didn't you know that they are in a cage?" He asked.

I nodded. "All they told me was that the animals at the zoo live happily and that's the place where they are gathered up." I said while looking ahead.

"They are fine. The zoo keepers takes care of them." He assured while facing my body to him.

I nodded. "Let's start looking around then!" I said happily and dragged him with me.

All morning, we both walk around and look at the creatures with different species.

I feel sad for them because they are in a cage but I guess some are just too wild and maybe that's why they keep them in the cage.

Yet, I can also see that the animals were fully taken care of. The cage was completely the type of habitat of the animals.

I even saw how happy the penguins were when the zoo keeper fed them with fishes.

But there are times when I tried to break them loose but Jungkook always stops me. 

That's why he is always guarding me if I would try to open their cage or no.

But during this day, I couldn't help but wonder also.

If I ever leave him, would he have someone who will love him and eventually never leave him?

The more I see his smile, The more I can't seem to let go.

I have decided... 

I'm staying.
