Prolouge Part 5

Hulk

Bruce has always been interested in science, especially in the science of soulmates. He knew he didn't have a mark himself but that was why he was so interested in the silence of soulmates so he could figure out why some had one and others didn't. Bruce had also always found the science behind the famous captain America interesting. When he got older Bruce followed his dream of becoming a scientist. Bruce had three doctorates, one in soulmateolegy, one in redaction science and one in biology.

Bruce had tried many things to try and recreate the super soldier serum used on captain Steve Rogers during World War II, Bruce believed that the key to success was radiation, in the end Bruce tried gamma radiation, but the result of the experiment was not exactly the one Bruce wanted. Instead of creating a super soldier he created in his opinion, a monster. He created the hulk.

At first he had no control over himself, he would simply transform whenever he was angry and not be able to transform back into himself again. It was in one of these accidental hulk transformations that Bruce decided that he would leave New York, he had gotten angry and the hulk decided to take that rage out on Harlem.

Bruce decided to go to Calcutta, India, to try and get some distance from the stress of his day to day life, and he did, Bruce managed to make a life for himself in Calcutta as a physician, but about two years later Bruce is tricked into meeting Natasha Romanov who persuades him into going back to America to help shield in recovering the tesseract. During his stay on the helicarrier Bruce seemed very uptight to most but in reality he was afraid of losing control and hurting the people around him.

Bruce had in fact lost control once while there and had hurt quite a few people but he somehow accepted his role a little for the hulk had helped save new york from the aliens. The more time Bruce spent with the team the more comfortable he became around them. He knew that if it came to it they could take him out.

Bruce noticed the mark when it started to appear on his chest. The first mark to appear was Tony's funny enough. Bruce was torn as he thought he was straight but as the mark was the first to appear he understood that maybe he had suppressed a part of himself, but when natasha's insignia appeared in the mark he understood what was happening, he was bisexuel and he was suprisingly oaky with that and if it meant the hulk was happy and willing to work with the team.

He liked the twins; they were nice to him even if Wanda had manipulated them to hurt a lot of people in Wakanda when they first met and as time went by he realised that maybe the team had meant to be all along. This ragtag team of misfits had been destined all along after all. And Bruce was finally happy with his new family.
