NOT A CHAPTER (WORKING ON THEM) BUT I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT FOR THE CHAPTER TWO OF THIS BOOK IM MAKING IN MY GOOGLE DOCS AND IF I SHOULD POST IT UP HERE.
Chapter 1: First Day as a Freshman
My name is Wendy Callaway. This year I graduated from middle school, now I'm a 14 year old freshman. I really hope Peter Cardwell isn't in my classes, I'm especially hoping he isn't in my homeroom class! Apparently, we have two hours of homeroom and all of our other classes last for one hour and fifteen minutes. I do not want an extra 45 minutes with him. Me and Peter have known each other since third grade and I hate him! And there's more, he's also my NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR! He is very annoying, worse than all the other boys I have met. That is saying a lot. He taunts me and flirts with me any chance he gets, teasing and pushing me around. A smirk never leaves his face. I just want to smack it off.
My friends say we should get together because we are "destined to be together" because my name is Wendy and his name is Peter... he ruined the movie Peter Pan for me. It was my favorite movie before I met him. He was in my class until middle school, but in middle school he was in my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade homeroom! And they may not have had 45 extra minutes but it was fifteen more minutes. Right next to each other in the seating chart because our last names are close to each other, Callaway and Cardwell.
Anyway, I should probably get ready now, I woke up an hour earlier than supposed to just to mentaly prepare myself. I put my favorite light blue dress on. It had small blue flowers on the ends of my cuffed sleeves and it went a little under the knees, so I put some black legging underneath. I let my curly dirty blond hair fall down and put a small white bow in my hair. I already made my bed, went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, so I headed down stairs to eat breakfast. My parents and brother were still sleeping and wouldn't be up until after school started. I made my lunch and put it down with my backpack. I grabbed an apple and a granola bar and headed outside the door.
I looked up to see him. Dang it, I didn't leave before 6:20. He always leaves ten minutes more than is needed just to mess around with me. What a great way to start the day. He was leaning up against the door, with one hand in his pocket and the other by the door. "Hey, Darling." He said it with a smirk on his face. Not the Peter Pan nickname. Anything but the Peter Pan nicknames!I cringed at it.
"What do you want, Peter? And drop the nickname, my last name is Callaway."
"Geez, alright! I drop the 'Darling'...for now." He smirked once more as I rolled my eyes. I glared at him. "Isn't it also your middle name, though?" He was right, it is my middle name. Oh, how I love my parents' humor. Absolutely lovely!
"Yeah, but still. Well, bye!"
I started to walk away but he grabbed my wrist and spun me around. Come. On!
"Nuh uh uh! You're not getting away that easily, besides Peter Pan never fails."
"But you're not Peter Pan, now are you? No, you aren't, so I'll be off now."
I started walking away again, but he followed me and I let out a huge sigh of frustration. Can't he walk by himself?
"Well that's no fun now, is it?"
"What?" Now I am even more confused.
"It's no fun to just let you go away and stop, for me at least it isn't. Now, off to school."
He must love annoying me. But I guess I have no choice, this is the only route to the school. I sighed once more and rolled my eyes. We walked in silence on the sidewalk. I was walking in front of him and felt his eyes looking at me.
