Mrs. Darling knew right when she saw the girl at the sleepover, Alice was her. She didn't know how, but she was. It racked her mind for days! And even better, she was one of Wendy's closest friends! For some reason ever since Peter visited about a couple days ago, Alice and some time the other girls would come daily, scattering up the stairs to Wendy's room. It puzzled her, but her mind didn't wonder about it too long. What did, was Alice.
So she decided to call Alice's father. Well adopted father, and then she explained the whole story. The whole, heart wrenching, life changing story.
Before Michael or John or Wendy was born, Ms. Darling's car broke down in the middle of the night while driving home from work. She got out of the car into the deserted area. Having to walk in a alleyway, she was cautious. When she went to grab her phone, she was jumped. She couldn't scream due to the gag as she was pushed against the cool brick wall. She was r*ped. Left crying on the cement pavement. She found her phone shattered and quickly ran home. She ranted to George and went into therapy. Weeks later, she found out her pregnancy and cried. She didn't care about knowing the gender but she wasn't just going to give up the baby. And then, her water broke. She screamed and cried. She thought their was only one, but found there were twins. One with blonde hair, and one with brown blondish hair. Alice and Wendy. The reason why there were two that looked different was Alice was Mary's and the r@pist's child and Wendy was the product of George and Mary. Her mother went behind her back and put Alice up for adoption, hoping it would relieve her of the memory while George and Mary were on their honeymoon. But when Mary came back, she searched every orphanage, but no luck.
But now she found her.
She got Mr. Kingsley's phone number and invited them over for dinner when George is out with his banker friends for the second time this month. The doorbell rang, and Wendy was closest to it. She got up with a sigh and solemnly walked over to the door. She opened the door and spotted Alice immediately, throwing her on the blonde with a huge hug, not even noticing Mr. Kingsley until pulling away. She cleared her throat and smiled at the red headed man. "Hello, Mr. Kingsley. Lovely to meet you!"
Mr. Kingsley laughs. "Oh, just call me Tarrant! No need to be proper!" Wendy slightly smiled at his words. She always felt pressured to be a perfect lady by her father and sometimes by just looking at her mother, hence the reason why she's wearing a casual dress. She bowed her head in gratitude as her mother walked in and then, realized. Mr. Kingsley is at her house. Did they do something wrong?! They haven't been out past curfew!! They never drank!! What did they do?!?!
"Mr. Kingsley-"
"Oh please! Tarrant!"
"Tarrant, of course, um dinner is almost ready so you can sit in the living room and watch the T.V. for now and the girls can go up to Wendy's room. I think that the-"
DING DONG
Wendy's head shot to the door. She wanted it to be Lily's family or Ariel's family, but she also didn't, because that would confirm them all being in trouble. For what? She did not know or even wanted to.
Mary walked to the door and opened. Wendy immediately hid behind Alice when she saw them. Him. The Panocas. Peter Pan. Wait. What does Alice have anything to do with Peter?! Alice grasped Wendy's wrist to comfort her, but now it just made her worry even more. Peter didn't see her yet. Good. She hurriedly went back to Alice's side, head high. What? She didn't want him to know she still loved him, let alone love him. Yes, she still loves him. Somehow. Alice took notice and let go of Wendy's wrist, a small smirk on her face. Why? Don't know. Wendy didn't let the hurt bleed through in her eyes, but tried to let some sort of courage and power show.
