i had been on the plane for a while now and we are meant to be landing in about an hour or so. i would finaly be going back to la from england. i had a really goof time in england. being able to meet some pretty cool people as well as re-connecting with people. i used to live here when i was little and moved to la to do bigger and better things. im glad i did.

all of a sudden, we hit some turbulence. i wasnt really bothered because i had experienced it before so i just carried on reading my book. i could tell by the boy next to me was a little scared so i put my book back in my bag and looked over to him.

"we are gonna be ok its just turbulence" i told him. i could see he didnt expect me to speak to him.

"i know its just that i have never experienced it before" he replied.

"i was the same when i first did but i got used to it" i told him.

we continued to talk for a little while about where we have been on planes and found out pretty similar things. we both live in la and he went to england to get away from the hustle and bustle. dont blame him.

all of a sudden, we are brought out of our convocation by the feeling of the plane going down. at first, we though it was us getting ready to land and we didnt hear the speaker but reality hit. we were in the middle of no where and we were going to crash. no. this cant be happening. ok. stay calm and dont freak out.

"ladies and gentle men, please brace for impact as we are heading for water" the pilot said. i could hear in his voice that he was scared but tried his very best to make it out as if he wasnt.

"colby, if i die, i want you to know that you are a cool dude" i said to him. he smiled.

"and you are a really beautiful girl" he said to me. nobody has ever said that to me before

days later

we had been started on this random ass island for a couple days now. well, i think so i dont know. every day is the same to me. me and colby had been savoring all the supplies we could find from the plane as well as making a camp. we had managed to build a bed out of some bamboo and a fire pit where we can cook our food any stay warm.

"how long do you think we are going to be here?" colby asked me

"i dont know" i said turning my attention away from the sky

"what if we never get found?" he said

"i havent really thought about that to be honest" i said looking back at the sky

"what why? wont your family and friends be wondering where you are?" i could see he was looking at me in the corner of my eye

"well, there is something i havent told you. i dont have a family and my 'friends' wouldnt care. they are only 'friends' with me for clout" i said finally looking at him

"oh im so sorry y/n i didnt know" he said looking guilty

"no its ok its not your fault. there was never a right time for me to tell you that" i looked back up at the stars so i could focus on something and hold myself together. i had been strong this whole time on the island and wanted it to stay that way.

COLBYS POV

i could tell that she was upset. her eyes kept darting from start to star in the sky. as if she was trying to get rid of the tears welling up in the least noticeable way possible. she had been really strong this whole time we were on this island. it was pretty impressive to be honest. if i was here alone i would defiantly be a wreck. i put my arm around her and brought her in for a side hug. it was really hard to do because we were laying down but i managed to do it.

in the distance, i could hear what sounded like the sound of a plane.

"can you hear that?" i asked her

"yeah it sound like a plane!" she said getting up 

we had a fire lit so if they looked our way they would see us and hopefully save us. and i was right. a light from the plane landed on us. we will be saved! me and y/n looked at each other and had huge smiles on our faces. i ran over to her and picked her up and kissed her. we had never done that before and i could y/n had never kissed anyone before. i pulled away for a second but was reconnected by her smashing her lips on mine.

a man was slowly lowered from the plane and came over to where we were standing.

"you guys ok?" he asked us

"yeah" we both said in unison

"so, who is going up first" he asked again

"y/n i will go second"

"you sure?" she asked me

"yeah"

the man then strapped himself back to the wire that brought him down as well as y/n attached to him. they slowly went up and she was out of my sight. i was later brought up and we were away. we could finally go home and be safe. i accidentally overheard one of the convocations that one of the medics was having with y/n.

"as you were there for three weeks, you have lost a substantial amount of weight and we will need you to stay with for a while until you are at a healthy weight" he told her

i never knew that. she had a baggy shirt on the whole time and if i knew how skinny she was i would have helped her. 

she looked over to me and smiled that little smile. that smile that made me fall for her and has been on my mind ever since i stepped on that plane.
