exploring

me and my bestfriend were exploring an abandoned house in la that we travelled hourssss to (not hours but it was a long time). i was filming for my YouTube where i had like 700K subscribers which i was very great fun for. i did a poll on whether or not i should do the ouiji board there and they all basically said yes. welp. im screwed. anyway back to the video. we had to do a quick get i because if we didn't, we would get caught and would be arrested. not today hunny. not today.
after exploring for about an hour, we found a good place to set up the board and ask some questions. we aint sitting there till the sun rises. only like 5 questions.
Q1 : does anyone want to talk to us ?
A1 : yes

Q2 : what is your name
A2 : Sarah

"Are you moving the planchette?" i asked my bestfriend
"No i swear to god"

Q3 : when did you pass ?
A3 : 2019

i couldn't handle it any longer. my mother was talking to me through the board. i never thought that i would talk to her ever again until i passed away myself. she was my bestfriend and the only person that would truly understand me. she knew me like the back of her hand.
i moves the planchette to the goodbye as i didn't want to talk to whoever was on the other side. even if it was my mother, i did feel sorry but if it wasn't my mother, then who the hell was it?
i was brought out of my thoughts by the sound of footsteps behind me. i looked at my bestfriend and she looked at me and smiled. why is she smiling? i turned my head to see two boys walking in our direction. i turned to my camera and turned it off. picking it up and walking away.
COLBYS POV
we saw two girl sitting on the floor playing with the infamous board that me and Sam swore we would never touch ever again. we decided to walk over to them and have a hat with them. one of them looked and smiled at us. the other girl turned around and looked at us and something looked different. like she had tears in her eyes and was about to breakdown. she turned off a camera and walked away. me and Sam picked up our pace to go talk to them.
"hey" me and Sam said at the same time
"hi" the girl left behind said
"what are you doing with that?" sam asked
"well, me and yn we're exploring and her followers decided it was a good idea to bring this fella here. we talked to her 'mother' who passed last year and she got upset and walked away. ive never seen her so hurt and im not sure what to do" she said.
wow. this girl had lost her mother not even a year ago and talked to her though a ouiji board. damn. i felt pain in my stomach just imaging how she would feel.
"do you want me to go talk to her?" i suggested not even knowing the girl.
"you can but when she is upset she won't talk"
"its worth a shot" i said walking away from Sam and the other girl that i never got the name of.
when i got out the window from where i got in i saw yn sitting on the floor crying her eyes out.
"hey, hey, its ok" i said pulling her into me and sitting her on my lap. she wrapped her arms around me and cried into my chest. i rubbed her back calming her down surprising fast.
"i dont want to be here anymore" she said between sobs. my heart was breaking seeing her like this. even though i don't know her i felt something for her.
"let me take you home then" i said and she gave a slight nod. "i will text my friend and we will go to yours and we can talk about it more ok?" she gave me another nod and i gave sam a text explaining the situation and apologised that he will have to go with yn's friend.
she gave me directions on where we have to go and let me tell you, they travelled far.
we made t back to her house and we talk about why she was upset and i have her a lot of hugs and she cried. A LOT. i guess you could say that her and her mother were like bestfriend that could never be separated. i ended up spending the night with her and she slept on my chest passed out from crying (and probably travelling).
we talked for months after that and we both developed feeling for one another an this turned into love. this girl is everything that i ever wanted in a girl and i have her. for the rest of my life. and i will never let her go.
