I can still hear myself breathing.
Rushing through all memories,
I found myself wishing,
That someday, this storm will cease.
Looking towards heaven,
still praying for peacefulness
Disturbed by thunders so sudden,
No strength to build but to just make a mess.
Closing my eyes,
Ignoring all sharp drops,
I'm swallowed by all lies,
Praying that everything would stop.
Hiding those tears with the rain,
Embracing myself in the dark,
Smiling bitterly to hide the pain,
Accepting a lone future to spark.
Suspended and lifeless,
Breathing but unhappy,
Who would pick up all the pieces,
And rebuild a new "me"?
