I sat longingly
Facing the sun setting so sadly
I brushed my tear away
So much happened for today
Lonely 'bracing myself
Hardly seeing a shadow of him
Coming to sit beside me
Yelling to approach me
As these eyes swells
My heart clings to dwell
In an imaginary kiss
In a dream of such bliss
As this mind rebels
This heart who insists to yell
The name I love to hear
The man who attempted to come so near
To me, that it brought the sun to light again
It was all perfect until when
He promised me he'll return
But now I am still yearning
Definitely yearning for nothing
But I'm here, in this place
Figuring out where to find a solace
While waiting for his promised return
I cleared my eyes and looked up
I dried my tears and again looked up
I shook my head and stared intently at the sky
The rainbow,
It can't be,
The rainbow cannot die...
