I sat longingly

Facing the sun setting so sadly

I brushed my tear away

So much happened for today

Lonely 'bracing myself

Hardly seeing a shadow of him

Coming to sit beside me

Yelling to approach me

As these eyes swells

My heart clings to dwell

In an imaginary kiss

In a dream of such bliss

As this mind rebels

This heart who insists to yell

The name I love to hear

The man who attempted to come so near

To me,  that it brought the sun to light again

It was all perfect until when

He promised me he'll return

But now I am still yearning

Definitely yearning for nothing

But I'm here, in this place

Figuring out where to find a solace

While waiting for his promised return

I cleared my eyes and looked up

I dried my tears and again looked up

I shook my head and stared intently at the sky

The rainbow,

It can't be,

The rainbow cannot die...
