Changed to my best dress,
Wanting him to be impressed,
One more time, I saw the umbrella,
One more time, it called me, "Stella,
Won't you like to bring me with you,
When the rainbow begins to lose its hue?
Stella why don't you want to use me,
When I'm there with you to find rest along the shores of the sea
You need me now,
For I cannot understand how,
You are going to intake,
Such danger so dreadful to put your life at stake?"
Shaking my head,
Forsaking fear and dread,
Then marched toward the door and again it said,
"Stella, Stella!
Aren't you going to use me, your umbrella?
A storm is approaching,
Look at where you're heading,
For you are looking so far away,
Oblivious of this game people play.
Stella, Stella!
Aren't you going to use me, your umbrella?
Look and see, the sun is missing!
Look at yourself love, you're drowning,
Wake up, Wake up, Stella, my dear,
There's thunder, and rain, and gray, you cannot alone bear
Rest your soul, your might, your love,
Before its too late set your gaze above.
A bigger cloud approaches,
More painful than your past diseases.
Must you wake up my dearest,
If you hold the life the nearest.
The sun will hide.
The stars will no more abide.
My dearest wake up...
My dearest give him up..."
