I tried to looked around
Hoping to find traces or a sound
Of maybe your incoming footsteps
Or maybe I just need to accept
That I might not be able
To say something about our label
I sat to my knees
I looked at the dancing trees
Little by little they blur
My eyes seem to know what will occur
I bowed my head and river flowed
I looked up again and saw an empty road
I shook my head and closed my eyes
I opened again and saw all the lies
I keep on blinking to see a figure
But even a leaf didn't transfigure
Maybe you missed a ride
You'll come tomorrow, I decide
I stood up, feet trembling
I turned back, heart praying
I take each step, eyes crying
I do some flashback, my mind denying
The skies of yellow and blue fades
I saw no one ready to aid
"Would you come back?" I wonder
Instead of comfort, I heard grumble of thunder...
