Used to see black and gray,

always wishing the rain to go away.

Hoping to open windows of sunlight,

But colors of yellow are out of sight.

Every morning waking up,

Flashing thunders said "Give up".

Used to all the dark shadings,

One morning I saw a sign of fading.

A spot of yellow broke in the middle,

Eyes widened I started to giggle.

Hurriedly went outside,

Eyes widened with so much pride.

Arms spread out,

I gave a shout,

With a little hope of happiness,

I'm surrounded by obliviousness.

Just keep walking,

I found myself bumping,

Into a stranger looking fair,

It took us minutes to cut the stare.

Smirking, I caught myself in sparks.

Little by little,

The painful rain started to go away.

Little by little,

A flash of genuine smile was displayed.

A sudden light came out from the middle,

Shining through a life so brittle.

Fearing the rain might come back,

I found myself in slack.

But before I fall,

A little thought came to roll.

I should doubt no more,

For he ended my rain forevermore.
