Tears swelling from my eyes
Gazing up to see blurry skies
Ignoring the sole thought
That to me the umbrella brought
Hurriedly went off
My hair was suspended and aloft
The hem was padded and thoroughly made soft
With mud that stained a lady shattered
Cracks ahead send me stumbling
Yet the bench getting farther away's what urges me to keep running
He said he would meet me there, smiling
Yesterday, the day was fair like a white sand beach
But this storm inside is still roaring
Making the bench grow ever farther from my reach
'Stella, Stella
Why don't you want to use me your umbrella?'
Its words are piercing me.
Stopping for awhile-
Each memory I began to compile
Beginning to weigh each side
With whom will I decidedly abide?
With my umbrella who became my buddy
Or with him that made this nightmare of a world so lovely?
My mind worrying
My Heart doubting
I ran afar and then stood still
Then I stood before mixed emotions which I feel
He breaks me at each seam
It is my mind that I am losing
Please tell me this is a dream
That the bench wasn't really missing
