Didn't know it wouldn't last
Didn't know I'd be shattered like a glass
What used to be our love
Haunts me and doesn't let me sleep
I know I might be saying goodnight
But that's just because my eyes
Are tired of the tears when I see your smile
In the photographs I kept as reminder of what once used to be mine
The words you used to say make me hold on
To something that won't be back
When I know I should move on.
Some parts of me still hold on to you
Other parts don't want to
No matter what I do
Every thing lands back on you
My heart still pictures your arms around me
Sitting in the car seat
Back to the day when we had our first kiss
The day that I will always miss
