It had been a year since Damon Salvatore and Katherine Pierce had started dating again and they spent a lot of time celebrating. But not everybody was happy for the couple. Damon’s younger brother, Stefan and his girlfriend Elena gilbert weren’t exactly thrilled for the happy couple. Katherine used to date both of the brothers. But she had compelled Stefan into loving her, taking away his will to make that choice on his own. Katherine had played the brothers against one another and was responsible for their deaths.
“Damon, have you lost your mind?” Stefan stated when Damon told him that he and Katherine was back together.
Damon glared at Stefan and poured himself a glass of bourbon. He took a swig of it. “I love her Stefan and I’m happy. And you of all people should be happy for me.” He said in an annoyed tone
“I am happy for you. But come on Damon. You and Katherine Pierce? I recall that you once referred to her as the devil wears Prada. So now after you slept with her a few times you’re convinced that you’re in love with her?” Stefan shook his head and poured himself a drink.
“I admit that I was harsh back then but Katherine has changed and she is not the same cold hearted bitch that played me back in 1864. In fact now that she is a human, I am finally seeing the real Katherine Pierce, the girl that she used to be before she became a vampire.”
“You do know that she is dying from old age right?” asked Stefan and drank some of his drink. He shook his head as he could not believe what he was hearing right now from Damon. Katherine was still playing him. But Damon was too blind to see it.
Damon rolled his eyes. “Of course I know that.” He spoke through his teeth “I am not stupid Stefan.” He finished his bourbon and pour himself another glass. “Look I want to make the rest of the time that she is here the most memorable days of her life.”
“Well I think that you’re making a big mistake.” Stefan said flatly
“I don’t give a damn what you think. Back off or else.” Damon said lowly as he glared at his brother.
“Fine. I’ll respect your decision Damon.” Stefan sighed
Damon smiled. “Thanks baby bro.” he patted Stefan on the back and went upstairs.
As for Elena, she had the same reaction that Stefan did and she weren’t pleased that her evil doppelganger was staying at the boarding house. In Elena’s eyes, Katherine was an evil vindictive bitch and she had to kill her and had impersonated her more times than she could count. Not to mention the fact that she had pretended to be her while they were looking for the cure and snapped Jeremy’s neck and feed Silas his blood. Katherine had killed her best friend Caroline Forbes and tried to get her to convince Elena to break up with Stefan. Then there was the time that she tried to get Tyler Lockwood to kill Matt Donovan so that his werewolf curse could be triggered. Elena knew more than anybody that they were all waiting to celebrate the day that she finally kicked the bucket because the world would be rid of the evil bitch forever Elena really hated that Katherine was staying with them because she and Damon were back together. She thought that he was a glutton for punishment and he should hate the bitch more than anyone because she had played with his emotions. But no Damon was in love with her and Katherine could do no wrong in his eyes.
Elena was excited that she and Stefan was going to the Lake house to celebrate Christmas because she would be able to get away from Damon and his girlfriend. She tapped her foot impatiently as Stefan carried their luggage to the car.
“Stefan can you please hurry up?” she whines
“Elena relax.” Said Damon as he looked at the newspaper “He’s going as fast as he can.”
