Guys this one shot may not seem like Klaus and Cami and is OTT. But pls keep inmy mind is my interpretation of how it is in between them. Enjoy :)
Cami POV
Jackson Square was filled with activity as people went about their merry way as they prepared for the Christmas holiday. It seem like New Orleans was going to get more tourists during the holidays. I knew that I would be celebrating Christmas alone. My twin brother Shawn had been hexed by a witch and then he went on a mass killing spree in the city. Later he committed suicide. My uncle Kieran, who was the pastor of a church would also be hexed. He was changed into a vampire and then he was killed.
New Orleans was divided into factions, witches, werewolves, vampires, and humans. Each faction wanted to get control of the city which was being run by Klaus Mikaelson who was a hybrid. Nobody liked him as they thought that he was evil, incapable of doing anything good unless it was to benefit himself. I did not believe this as I knew that there was good in Klaus. People just had to take the time to get to know him.
Davina Clare was one of the people who despised Klaus especially after he killed the only boy that she loved. Davina was a witch and a very powerful one at that. I don’t think that she even realized what she was truly capable of at times. Davina wanted to take Klaus down along with her friend Josh. But it would not be easy for that to happen.
Marcel Gerard used to run the city. But now it seemed like he had turned that honor over to Klaus and the two of them were joined at the hip these days.
About two days before Christmas, Klaus, Marcel, and Klaus older brother Elijah came to the bar where I worked as a bartender. I was a little surprised to the three of them. Marcel smiled at me and I waved. Elijah made his way to the bar and the other two followed him.
“Good afternoon Cami.” Elijah states. He was a noble ad honorable man. I noticed this about him on the day that we met.
“Cami you are always working.” Said Marcel “Sweetheart you need to take a break.”
I smiled slightly. “Well I need to work if I am going to able to pay my expenses marcel.” I told him. Out of the core of my eye I noticed that Klaus seemed uncomfortable and he kept looking everywhere else but at me. I was a little hurt by his behavior. But I decided not to let it bother me. “What can I do for you gentlemen?”
“Actually it’s Niklaus who would like to speak to you Camille.” Said Elijah.
“We are just his wingmen.” Marcel added with a smile
“Yes Klaus? What is that you would like to ask me?” I stated
Klaus shifted his weight to one foot. He looked very nervous about something, which was unlike him. I wondered what was bothering him because any other time he didn’t have a problem talking to me.
“Apparently my brother lacks the capability to speak. So I will speak for him. Tonight we are having a Christmas party at the mansion and Klaus would like you to be his date.” Elijah announced
I was shocked. Klaus wanted to ask me out on a date? I was always attracted to him. But I never thought that he was interested in me. “Is that true Klaus?” I asked I wanted him to speak and not just stand there while Elijah and marcel did all of his talking for him.
“Yes.” Klaus finally spoke “Will you come Cami?”
I smiled. I thought that he was so cute. Who would ever thought that all mighty hybrid would be nervous about asking me out? I was flattered and a faint blush appeared on my cheeks. “Yes. I would love to come.” I said
