[STRONG LANGUAGE!!!]

[Y/N's] POV -

I woke up in the Elders Recess.

Everything was still quite dark and fuzzy.

Strangely, everything had warmed up

I checked myself over, and amazingly, I couldn't find any injuries...but,

Emily wasn't around.

I was alone.

I slowly raised myself to sit up and look around.

It looked like the Elders Recess, just with no Velkhana.

I lifted myself onto my feet and without thinking began to walk up towards the Crystallised area.

Maybe it's up there?

Actually...wheres Emily?

Why didn't she help me out?

Is she in trouble?

Fuck.

I tried to run, but couldn't.

My legs felt heavy and stuck to the floor.

It was like having two anvils stuck to my armour.

I was still able to walk up the hill, but it felt like a small workout just walking.

There was still no sound either.

'Hello?' I called out wearily, trying to get an answer or something.

It was really worrying, being alone in the Recess.

Are there any monsters here? I have no idea.

'Emily?' I called out again, trying to get any reply at this point.

It was slowly starting to get warmer too. I could feel it getting hotter the closer I got to the molten underground.

I was trying to think about any of the places that Emily would've gone to.

And why the Velkhana just up and left.

I was so overloaded with what'd gone on.

I need to focus. Concentrate.

Okay...so what's going on up here?

I was at the crystals at the top of the hill.

I've fought many Nergigante's up here.

As well as those stupid wing-drakes.

I looked around the area, but there wasn't anything to be seen.

No Footsteps, monster or Handler.

I audibly sighed and tried to think about what to do next.

I thought about going to a camp...but I'm sure that Emily would've taken me back to a camp too.

Where did she go?!

Ummm...maybe she went down? I don't think a Velkhana would like being near any lava.

I immediately turned and tried to run down towards the slope, but once again, it felt like I was being held back.

My legs were still quite heavy.

I was trying my hardest, but I still couldn't go any faster.

It still felt so heavy just moving.

But I still pushed on, Emily could be in danger after all.

I sluggishly lumbered down towards the slope that lead to the molten underground of the Recess.
