Chapter 17

{ At Kunlun Mountain }
" Master, it's past midnight already.... i prepared for you some ginger tea.... please look after your health " said Zhu Luo is disguise

" Mhm " said Mo Yuan as he nodded and drank the ginger tea but, he felt something was off about the tea.... so, when he was about to drink it.... he popped a pill from Zhe Yan that was given to him the last time they were attempted to be assassinated

Then, right as he pretended to pass out, Zhu Luo lauched an attack at Mo Yuan but, luckily Zhu Luo missed so, as Zhu Luo stepped closer to take another try, Mo Yuan pulled the mask off him and when seeing he was really not Jing Yan, Mo Yuan struck him on the head, killing him.

The next day, Mo Yuan dragged Zhu Luo's body out and then, showed the entire Kunlun mountain what had happened

" last night, sometime past midnight, this immortal tried to assassinate me but, he clearly failed. He disguised as Jing Yan and offered me a ginger tea that was drugged. Our priority now is to find out if there are anymore spies in Kunlun mountain and also to find out whether The real Jing Yan is dead or alive " said Mo Yuan

" alright..... that year, i was sent to kunlun mountain to help Our realm by being a spy. I was killing each and every heavenly tribesman until, i got stabbed by 9th Senior Brother.... he saw me killing the Heavenly army and then, when he nearly stabbed me but instead, tore the mask that i had on. After he saw me, he tried his hardest to stab me dead so, since he knew i was a traitor, i had to get rid of him so, i shot the last arrow that was poisoned and hit it on Ling Yu's chest. But, after they won.... i came back home, Just to find out the both our parents were dead and all our family and friends were dead aswell..... i will never forget that pain..... so, the Tong has the meaning of Pain and Li for separation..... i wasn't able to see my family for the last days of their lives because of this mission so, i must complete it " said Li Tong or his real name, Wan Ling

" father, i don't want to go.... father please " said the only 13.000 year old Xue Ying

" you must... i was an order from His Excellency and if we could turn it down we would but, we can't or else he'll kill our entire branch " Wan Yang, Xue Ying and Li Tong's father said

" but father, then i won't be able to see you and mother and Big brother and sister too also all our family and friends " said Xue Ying

" no, you must.... i'm sorry but, YOU MUST GO " said Wan Yang

" Father please ! I beg you.... don't make me go " begged Xue Ying on his knees

" i'll go " Li Tong said

" brother...." whispered Xue Ying as he got a reply of a head shake from Li Tong
