train.

once able to, the group of three trained with zushi. and once gon used ten, the thread on his left hand snapped. firstly, wing had them sit in front of the television and re-watch hisoka's fight. he paused it, asking if they saw the threads of aura.
"threads of aura?" gon asked. none of them saw a single thread of anything. and wing explained they needed to learn gyo, which would help them see these apparent threads. 'oh god, another term..' y/n thought.
ren, gyo, hatsu, nen, aura, everything was so hard to keep up with. what was worse was her hurting stomach on top of everything. sometimes, to stop the pain, she'd clench her stomach. 'you don't need it.' she would repeat to herself.
zushi pushed out his aura, then he tried to focus it on his eyes, like wing ordered. though, it ended up flickering, nonetheless he was able to stabilize it. focusing on the screen, supposedly he saw 13 threads and wasn't able to control it anymore.
y/n wasn't really listening to wing's lecture, as she didn't want to but also because of her stomach pain. she couldn't remember the last time she even ate. and when she tried to even eat anything, just merely the thought, made her nauseated.
she even fainted a few times, always when she was by herself. because of that, she tried to distance herself as much as possible from gon and killua. even if it did pain her. she watched as they grew closer and closer.
while she felt like she was looking from the outside. no, she was looking from the outside. she clenched her shirt (which became a bit of a habit), but before she knew it, they were leaving. she followed about a foot away from the three, hearing a bit of the conversation.
"hey, let's go practice what we just learned." gon suggested. "yeah, then let's go to your room gon." killua added with a smile. of course gon agreed, but y/n knew she couldn't stay for much longer, she felt herself getting light headed.
the bright sun didn't help either, it blinded her. when she sought the chance, she jogged into an alleyway. she wiped away the sweat on her forehead, panting and holding onto her knees. she fell to the ground, her energy was short and her body frail now.
so much so that she could barely even train on her own. she barely got by nowadays. gon looked behind them, looking for y/n's opinion on the subject they were discussing. "huh? where did y/n go?" gon asked. zushi shrugged as killua pretended he didn't know.
of course, he noticed when y/n ran off into an alley. he noticed her distant behavior, the way she always went straight to her room. and the dead silence. he didn't see much to take note of, but something definitely was up.
after y/n sat there on the ground for about a half an hour, she finally regained her strength and headed for her room. though, the three eye sores were waiting for her in the hallway. "when is your deadline? we want to fight you." one of them blatantly stated.
"leave me alone." she held onto her stomach and she just wanted to go to her room. "hmm?" they replied. y/n could tell they weren't going to just let her through. she heavily sighed, "june 11th." she leaned against the wall for support.
"ahh, that won't work. mine is may 29th." the eye sore said. "tough shit." y/n retorted, she was getting rather irritated now. "why, what a dirty mouth.." the man said. "that's what your dad said too." she stuck out her tongue.
she realized a few seconds later that it didn't really make sense, but she didn't care anymore. "fine. we'll fight on may 29th. how about it?" she forced some playfulness into it. "you agreed more easily than your friends." the man chuckled but y/n found it repulsive.
"ugh, whatever you're like 40 and not my type." she held a hand to him as she walked in between the three of them. even though y/n didn't know what she was doing, she somehow was able to somewhat figure out gyo.
she just focused her aura and pushed it out, like how zushi did it. easy enough, though trying to control it was where she lost it. she control it for seconds at that. she fell back onto her bed, immediately being reminded of her constant hunger.
it's like every single day was the same. day in, day out. it didn't even feel like her body was hers anymore. was this her parents' doing? was it just her mental stability? she couldn't differ between the two.
she groaned, the thought of fighting that geezer made her sick. maybe some kind of miracle would happen and she'd win without using up her energy. she turned onto her stomach, 'yeah right, like that'd happen.' she rolled her eyes.

"like that'd happen." she mumbled out loud.
